I had made a reservation for a 16' truck to be picked up at 8:00am on a Saturday. I had received an e-mail, as well as a confirmation call from the company confirming the pick-up time and the location pick-up/drop-off. When I arrived to pick-up the truck, there was a sign on the door saying they did not open until 9:00am. My helpers and I waited and when we asked the employees about the time change, they said they'd been on that new schedule for months. They also claimed this mix-up has happened several times before. To make up for the inconvenience, the gal how worked with us told us we could return the truck any time the next day at our destination location, instead of 8:00am like was originally planned (1 day rental). This arrangement was fine. Had the inconveniences stopped there, I would have given a 4-star review; however, several days after our move we had received an addition charge of $109, in addition to the original amount we were charged for the 1-day rental. After reaching out to the company inquiring about the additional charge, nothing has been taken care of, or addressed. I chose this company because I see their trucks around all the time. When I compared their prices to UHAUL, they were the better deal because they offer unlimited miles. Unfortunately, they turned out not to be cheaper once they charged more money for an unknown reason after the fact.

We've been trying to get ahold of some one for a good 30 mins to an hour it's hot the truck is not working and no one is answering the phone we were even sent on a goose chase to find another penske and to no avail we found none this is terrible customer service

The pile of junk I rented broke down. 8 hours later in weather ranging from -6 to 8, and I'm still waiting on help to get this thing moving. Any help. A call back, a human on the phone, even a recorded voice laughing would be nice at this point. If you want to die of exposure this is the way to go. If you want to get where you intended, I'm not so sure.
