Five months into a global pandemic and the gentleman at the counter explained he—and everyone else in the store—wasn’t wearing a mask because he “hadn’t caught COVID yet”. I only go out when necessary bc there are 5 in our home who are considered high-risk. This was not a casual shopping trip. It was necessary to rent a Penske truck. Wish he, and others, cared that wearing a mask protects OTHERS from anyone who is asymptomatic and contagious. The consequences have the potential to be deadly—and at the very least it’s rude to customers.
