  I would never use PODS again. We had to wait over a week after we moved into our new house before they delivered the POD. Then the POD sat empty in our driveway for a month before they came to pick it up. Worst of all, though, was that they charged us for that extra time. So we were storing the Pod for PODS, and we had to pay them for it. Seem backward? When we tried to get a refund, the company said we would have to deal directly with the local storage facility where our Pod was stored but that they couldn't give us a direct phone number for that facility. They said they would submit a report to the local facility and the local facility would contact us. They never contacted us. Unprofessional, dishonest, and poorly run company. Either hire more workers and buy more trucks so you can deliver and retrieve the pods in a timely fashion, or be willing to eat the cost yourself--instead of charging your customers for your inefficiency.

  The initial pod drop off was very smooth the driver was very helpful with positioning of the pod. Unfortunately the pod was not picked up on the date it had been initially set up for generally set up for which made it very difficult for me as I was closing on the house and would no longer own the property. After spending lengthy time on the phone however arrangements were made for it to be picked up the next day and stored for me. The drop off and the final pick up went very smooth I was not home and everything went very well.

  BUYER BEWARE I have just started working with PODS. I was pretty optimistic after ordering my PODS and preparing to pack all my belongings. I additionally ordered 2 sets of boxes from Pods that were to be delivered to me in 3 days or less (see picture below). I placed my order in 12/30/2021 with a delivery date of 1/3/2022. Very reasonable considering the holiday. I contacted customer service on 1/3 and was told that there was a delay and that I wouldn’t receive my shipment until 1/5 or 1/6. Unfortunately I don’t have that kind of time and requested to cancel the order. I was informed that I would be charged for cancelling the order. I was told repeatedly that I was never guaranteed a 3 day delivery … despite what the website states. I feel this is very misleading. I asked for the charges to be waived and was flatly told no. CAUTION WHEN ORDERING ANYTHING ADDITIONAL THROUGH PODS (Packing supplies,etc ). Your better off going elsewhere to get moving boxes. The advertising is misleading and the company does not stand behind what is printed. That is all the proof I need for any future recommendations or repeat use. I’ll plan to update this review after I complete the move.
