  Last time we used PODS was several years ago and it wasn't a great experience so I was hesitant to use them this time. We needed to get a cross country move done and given all the current issues in transpo right now, a PODS type service was clearly the least painful way to go. In spite of my reservations, we gave it a shot and thankfully, the people and services this time around were a million times better than a few years ago. From our quote call representative to each driver, everyone was polite, professional and responsive. Everything arrived on schedule with no hassle. Whatever has changed in PODS management, it's for the better!

  I've compared these to local companies and the quality is terrible. The roofs are plastic and look prone to leaks. Their prices are higher too. I'm going to support higher quality local businesses over this large chain.

  DO NOT USE FOR MOVING NEEDS!!! I recently tried to use PODS for a move several states away and called well in advance to schedule delivery and pickup. The salesman I spoke with would not let me schedule things out and stated all I had to do to is call and they'd pick up and deliver the next day. NOT TRUE. I had to cancel the final two pods and purchase a Uhaul. Then they tried to deliver the pods that I had canceled anyway after I had already moved out of the house and refused to pick up the pods on the promised date and moved that further out. They also charged my credit card for the additional pods I had canceled and refused to refund. When I asked to speak with a supervisor they told me it'd be 3-5 business days. Lies upon lies and stealing peoples money. This business is such a joke. Do not use, especially if you're military like me.
