  PODS does not care about the customers it serves. They only care whether they get all of your money whether you still have the pod or not. They do not prorate and will keep a whole month of the rent even when the pod is picked up the day your month starts. Delivery and pickup fees are high. I highly recommend never using this company, ever!

  BEWARE!!!! DON'T ONLY READ MY REVIEW READ THE REST OF THE 1 STAR REVIEWS ON GOOGLE AND PODS. SEEMS TO BE RECURRING BAD SERVICE AND OVERCHARGING WITH PODS!!!! EASY DELIVERY AND STORAGE THAT TURNS INTO A NIGHTMARE ONCE THE POD IS PICKEDUP Everything was excellent from ordering the POD, having it dropped off, to and paying my monthly fees. However, when it came time for pickup, I was CHARGED $812.00!!! I had to close my account because PODS kept CHARGING me for little amounts until my account was DEPLETED!!! To PODS Reply: The reply listed below does not justify what you took out of my account. I only owed $89.00 for a pickup fee and was even in agreement with $98 with taxes. So 5 charges of $89.00 and another charge of $367.05 for a grand total of $812.00 IS NOT TRANSPARENT!!! I have been on the phone with your horrible customer service reps since Monday to only keep accruing more charges on my bank account!!! This lovely reps also deleted my PODs online account from the system. At this point, I have closed my account and am floored with your business which I suggested to and paid for on behalf of my mom. NEVER AGAIN!!! BUYERS BEWARE!!!!

  We bought a house and had to wait to move in. We were going to use a full service mover but have problems with movers storing our items so I decided to use PODS instead. The PODS worked out great for storing and then having them shipped to our residence in another state. The PODS were delivered and picked up on the dates we requested and all employees that we came into contact with were helpful and professional. We packed the PODS ourselves and when we unloaded them everything was fine ( I used about a hundred tie downs ) . You can hire someone to pack and unload your POD if you choose to do so. After it was all said and done it was definitely less expensive than a full service mover would have charged us for the move. So between using the PODS and storage for two months it really saved us quite a bit. I was very pleased with the PODS people and would highly recommend them.
