  I have never dealt with a company that had such poor service. I had a large AC unit delivered. I paid extra for a lift gate service. Upon arriving, the man asked where I wanted it. I said the garage. He said, “it curb side service only” I asked him to put it in my gravel driveway. He again repeated, “ it is curb side only. I don’t have a curb. He asked if I wanted the 463 pound AC unit left in the street. I asked him if he could put it in the yard. He again repeated, “it’s curb side service only”. I told the to just send it back as I have no curb.He was extremely sarcasm and was very rude the entire time. He made it VERY clear that he could care less about my delivery. I called the shipping company to complain. The lady on the phone said she has had nothing but complains about this company but would call them to get it re-delivered. I received a call from them saying they would deliver it in 3 days sometime between 9am to 5 pm. They delivered it on the day they stated but arrived at 4:55. It’s extremely disappointing that a company has no compassion towards its customers. R and L carriers is horrible!!! On top of this, look at thr reply from the company. Just the standard reply to every negative review. Why would anyone go to your website to give you the same information you read here. I don't have a PRO (tracking) number. And according to you ignorant reply, I don't need assistance. I gave you a true and honest review of your company so everyone can see how poor service your company provides.

  First experience with R&L, gentleman who called to setup delivery was very polite and scheduled delivery for the date I requested. Drive also very polite and arrived on time and helped bring the package to the garage. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Thank you

  Terrible service. Please do not use this company. We were told we would get a 24hr notice to schedule delivery. Truck pulled up front of my residence without any notice. I wasn’t home, just my wife. The truck driver was rude, curb side service is exactly what it means(your items will be left mostly in the street), box was slightly damaged but the driver ensured her to sign the paper and call if any problems. Several days went by before I finally opened this banded, 400lbs, $3,000.00 package and it’s severely damaged. R and L won’t discuss case with me as the company I ordered item from paid for the shipping. Company I ordered from blames R and L and says they keep denying claim. I’m currently stuck with a damaged item which is not what I paid for. Follow up- R and L posted a response that’s generic at best the following day after my review. I promptly went to web site suggested in their response and haven’t heard back since. Seems they post responses to appear “active” to reviewers. Will be posting daily follow ups till resolved.
