  AVOID- Besides difficulty getting in & out of there via the super steep hill, Units leak & mold - Phone calls are useless to voice concerns- employee gets rude, twists your messages or doesn’t respond at all - Have to email several times to get a response - owner promises to fix just to keep you but doesn’t follow through then has amnesia- they raise rated twice within a year with little to no notice - last time was just a few days before the next month’s payment was due

  Gaylee, So sorry for your difficulty. Ringgold View Storage is under new ownership as of last August, and while we can't do anything about the hill (wish we could!), we are aggressively correcting issues that are under our control. You are correct in that there were too many units that had dampness issues. We implemented drainage control on the property by installing french drains in rows 2 through seven, and connected all the downspouts to these drains. This will alleviate most of the dampness getting into the units. We're also repairing doors, door seals, thresholds, and cracks in the concrete that are causing leaks. This has been a labor-intensive and expensive procedure, but our goal is to make every unit clean and as dry as possible, given the Georgia climate. We repaired and upgraded the video surveillance system, and also upgraded our phone system, making every effort to return calls and emails in a timely manner. As far as rent increases go, the former owner did raise rents on some units early in 2018, but there has been no increase since then. Our operating expenses, however are increasing quite a bit as we add staff and do repairs. We will do everything in our power to keep rent increases to minimum.
