  BEWARE!!!!! I cannot recommend this company for ethical reasons. The estimate was a bait and switch..... the invoice came in 50% higher than the estimate!!! Even with us greatly paring down our belongings. When we questioned the invoice, they quickly removed almost $1,000 in questionable charges yet refused to provide any additional details of the remaining charges. See below before your consider hiring this company. We hired Roberto’s moving company for a local inner loop move. We bid the move to 2 companies and chose Roberto’s based on local reviews and inner loop experience. Roberto came to the house to give an estimate. He opened cabinets and looked in closets. I asked him to provide a quote for the move. He quoted $110 per hour for the first truck and $179 per hour for the second truck. He estimated 8-10 hours for the pack day and the same for the move day. He asked for $2500 down and estimated the total move at $5,000. We moved from a 3,000 sq ft house to a 2,000 sq ft house. In the month between the estimate and the actual move, we sold 2 bedrooms of furniture, cleaned out all closets by putting all linens and small items into linen bags and baskets. The movers were literally in by 9 and out by 4 pm on pack day. Move day was 8 am to 4 pm with unpacking. We were happy with the movers. They were professional and efficient. However, we have been grossly overcharged after the fact and ignored in our request for information. For an experienced moving company to estimate poorly and then overcharge after the fact we believe is unethical.

  1. The estimate only included Packing Service and Moving service. You then requested Unpacking Services and requested a piece of furniture to be put in the 2nd floor and the piece of furniture did not fit. So at YOUR consent, even though movers never do it, we had to Carefully bring it from the outside and through the balcony which is VERY Dangerous. The last Request you had was to take furniture to a SEPERATE location besides your original drop off, adding to your grand total as well. Those 3 special request were NOT part of your agreement so we added to bill making it more than you expected. 2. We are State wide, and LH Hotshots does our OUT-OF-STATE moves, not just inner loop. 3. Roberto Senior always looks at all cabinets to see what special Packing Material we need, this goes for any Estimate. 4. We gave you an estimate based off what You told us you wanted done, not a Set price for the whole move. We do our best to get the estimate as close as we can but from past expierence it changes as the client ADDS. 5. This time frame does not include the seperate delivery you requested, again changing the total price. 6. Thank you, my guys ARE amazing at what they do. We are fair with our prices, but with your special request it made your estimated total different than we expected. Thank you and call us whenever you are ready to Pay the Outstanding Balance you owe us for the Special request you made.

  Great customer service! Really friendly and kind. I recommend Robertos moving. They moved my furniture from my old to my new house and have used them for storage too. They are well trained and professional. 💯 recommended

  Recommended by my friend. Most professional movers i have ever dealt with. They arrived on time, and delivered on time. They wear very careful with moving my furniture out and into my new location. But most importantly they have some incredible customer service. Will definitely recommend them to anyone out there who’s looking for a furniture movers.
