They talked a great game. Where to start. We had scheduled our move for a Saturday and was told that it was not a problem. We then received a call back stating that they could not move us as expected but could move us on Sunday. This was all explained at the outset of the initial contact. We excepted the Sunday offer and were told that we would be the first customer on Sunday. Sunday came, we called them at about 1 pm and were told that they were 5 minutes away, the still did not show until an hour later. They moved everything out, including items that we did not want moved to the new location. I then packed up the kids and drove to the new locations (approximately 10 minutes drive time). They did not show up to the new location until 45 minutes to an hour later (even though I had provided specific directions and Google maps would give them the same directions). After arrival they moved the items we had (while scuffing and damaging paint and walls at the new location). I was tired and frustrated, I just wanted them to leave. All of a sudden they could not complete the washer and dryer install because they left all of the external components in the old location (washer hoses and dryer air vent hose). I quickly drove back to the old location only to find that they had not completely shut-off the washer hot water valve. Water was already draining from upstairs to the downstairs carpet. I closed the valve as best as I could and immediately drove back to confront the crew leader. I told him of what was happening and was given the run around at that point and told to contact them when I knew more (thinking that insurance would cover the damages). I contacted them the next day to pass on that there was clear and evident damage cause to the ceiling (collapsed because of water damage) and the carpet (because of water damage). They informed me that their insurance only covered items that were part of the move and not structural damages but that they would be willing to cover the cost of the damages without involving insurance. We received the bill from the old address and presented the bill to the mover. They explicitly stated that they could no longer honor the cost because it was 30-days later (it wasn't), stated that if we had approached them before that their insurance would have covered the damages (I really think that same day as move and contact day after the move means that we contacted you) and also *feel* as if they are not responsible for the damages caused (they did not even go back to inspect the damages after I pointed out that there was water damage the day of the move). Since we contacted them initially, they have (surprise, surprise) no longer accepted our calls and have not called us back. We are on the hook for over $1300 in damages. Do not use this company at all!!!

Kyle, Keenan, Jordan, and Trent were the guys that moved me out of my old home and into my new one they were very professional, took pride in their work and were super efficient I've used other big name company's but nothing compares to the experience i got with safe and sound movers i would HIGHLY recommend and will be using them again!
