Subpar services and work ethic by Allied Van Lines staff and their Claims Department! My company hired them to relocate me within the U.S. and I experienced a long and agonizing process with their claims department. I elevated my concerns to the Office of the President of Sirva and all I got was an apology despite photos and supporting documentation for my claim, which was declined. I was appalled that a company like Sirva didn't process my claim with the highest priority and work ethic. They worked harder to mitigate my claim than to assist me. I would contract another company if you have the option.

Sirva is the insurance company for North American movers. And like the movie Rainmaker, they deny, deny, deny most claims until you just go away. We have had two horrible experiences working minor claims from two different moves. Had the same claim representative (Tamara George) and both times, while being pleasant, tried to deny the claim. We finally worked out a reasonable settlement in our first move. But we had a very expensive nightstand go missing when it was actually at our house. Since it didn't fit in the room, the guys moved it back outside but never saw it again. So she denied, denied and denied the claim. DON"T work with a moving company that uses Sirva as their insurance provider!

I have been dealing with the Sirva in Fort Wayne, IN and it has NOT been a good situation! They picked up my stuff on June 7 and I am still sitting in an empty apartment New York! (It's 6/20/16) and I have yet to receive an update on where my belonging are! I think everything is still in Minnesota! I have emailed and phoned (Put on hold for 15 minutes) but to no avail! I have found this company to be UNKIND, UNPROFESSIONAL and simply NOT OK!
