  We hired Sloan's to move/pack our 26' moving truck in prep for our cross country move and they did not disappoint. Miguel, Montane, and Roberto (sorry if I misspelled your names) did an amazing job! Not only did they move my heavy shop machinery with ease, they also moved every single piece with care. They even took the time while moving pieces to think out how things would fit in the truck and where. Every single piece was wrapped, taped, padded, and packed to perfection. I absolutely recommend Sloan's and especially these three guys for any move you have to make. Thanks Danny for the great service and even better team!

  I contacted Sloan‘s moving and storage in August 2021 to move five large pieces of furniture, two closets full of items and two rooms of stacked boxes from one residence to another in Manassas, VA. I received their name through a friend who is a real estate agent and was familiar with their reputation for quality service. Danny Sloan contacted me via video chat to come up with a cost estimate instead of someone coming to the house to survey the items in person. That was a great time saver and I received the estimate and contract to sign via email on the same day. The estimate was broken down to packing costs and moving costs and was very reasonable, so I set up the move day within a week. Danny sent the right number of movers and they all worked very hard and diligently, maneuvering three flights of stairs at the origination residence and a shared elevator at the destination residence. The moving team showed up exactly when they said they were going to and completed the job in one day. Since they did not have to repack some of the boxes that were already packed, the actual cost came in several hundred dollars lower than the original estimate. I appreciated the fact that they deducted the difference because they didn’t have to and I would have never known. It’s a very customer-focused business and I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
