  I got a few quotes from movers on Angi and hesitated over hiring them. I did a Google search for additional listings and found Southside Movers. All the companies gave me rates, fees, and minimum times. Southside walked me through all my belongings and gave me rates. Others were cheaper, but this company let me know that a regular moving truck would not hold all my stuff. None of the others did, and I found later they had the same size trucks. Southside suggested I move what I could on my own so I wouldn't need to have two crews (at nearly double the price). Their estimate for money and time were spot-on. Best of all, they moved my things without breaking or damaging anything. Also, the guys were personable, respectful, and very helpful. I would recommend this company to anyone.

  I called this company about moving my uncle who is 80 years old from VA to NC and I stated all the items to be moved and got the quote from Tony who was very helpful. Set up a delivery date which I had to change due to the closing on the new house was rescheduled. They picked up everything that was mentioned on the list besides the computer desk. The issue came in when the China cabinet glass was broken which a claim was submitted, the TV cords which the company packed were missing. Called and spoke to receptionist she was supposed to find the guys who delivered the furniture and have them call back ni return call. The cable company had 2 cords thank goodness and had to go out and purchase 2. One of the tvs will not come on at all. Submitted a claim for this as well. The kicker was went to get in bed and the entire bed fell on the floor. The screws were missing on the box spring boards and he has no idea where they are. So now he has to go to Lowes to try and find something that will fit in the bed. This entire move was a disaster and as much money as he paid for this move your company should be ashamed of themselves.

  The movers stole items from me, worth about $500.00. They also forgot to load the washer and dryer the first time, but charged me for them having to go back and pick them up during the second trip. They charged me for a TV box, but never put the TV in a box. Finally, they damaged a number of items during shipping. I contacted the supervisor to address these issues, but he never got back to me. I've never had such a a horrible experience such as this one.
