As a single parent who is very budget-conscious, I frantically searched to find a moving company that was both reasonably priced and fair. I located this company online and thought that I had found a great one. I was sorely mistaken. Upon securing my appointment, I explained to the representative that I have moved 7 times in the past 11 years and had it down to a science. The last place we moved from took us 4 hours and 30 minutes to move, and that was because the truck had to return to the previous address to complete an additional pick up of items they left behind. My sons and I pack everything ourselves a week in advance so that all items are in boxes. On December 30, it rained HEAVILY and ALL DAY LONG. (We have moved during the rain before.) Other companies were gracious enough to make accommodations for inclement weather due to a slower moving process, assuring things don't break or their workers are not harmed in the process. These workers arrived at 9:30 a.m. and had me sign a ton of papers. The gentleman then explained to me that based on how long he thought the move would take, they would have to charge me approximately $1093. This was considerably over what was quoted to me on the phone and he calculated the move at a rate of 8 hours, which I specifically told them I did not need. They began and wrapped every piece of furniture to stop it from getting wet. Great. That was appreciated. However, that was the first thing that prolonged the moving process. Due to the rain, it took them much longer, because several pieces had to be moved that were upstairs. They completed packing everything up by 12:50 p.m. (MUCH longer than any other company has ever taken, but again it was raining.) The lead mover explained that it would take them 30 minutes to get to the new place because of the rain and he would arrive at 1:30 p.m. that would have taken us to our 4-hour maximum allotted for moving. This man called me AN HOUR LATER to tell me that he was lost. When he finally got there, it took them an hour to move everything off the truck. He handed me the paperwork. They charged me for 7 hours (INCLUDING the hour he got lost) and made NO accommodations for the rain, claiming I "...could have changed my moving date if I wanted to.") HOW?!?!?!?! If you have to be out of a property at a certain date, there is no way to change it. So, I ended up paying $385 MORE than I anticipated. I will NEVER, and I do mean NEVER, recommend this company due to its hidden charges and will post this on several other sites so people know what they are getting when they confirm with these people. The owner was NOT understanding at all, argued with me to justify his rate, and refused to come to a compromise. This single mother will take her hard-earned money elsewhere, encouraging others to do the same. Worst moving experience...EVER.

The customer job was done on a rainy day and compared to other moving companies that cancel on customers for bad weather we confirmed with her that she can rest assured that her move will be done no matter what. When the team arrived at her 3 bedroom house the foreman gave her son an estimate of 8 hrs based on the amount of furniture,distance,stairs and at the end the total moving time was 7 hrs including the double driving. The customer asked to speak to a supervisor and explained that she was a single mom and her budget was $500 .If we knew this at the time of booking we would have explained to her that a 3 bedroom house move cost more than $500. The drive from the first location(Santa Clarita) to the destination (encino) took 40 minutes and we charged only 30 minutes. The driver never got lost and they even didn't have any lunch time to save her money.Customer wasn't even there when the movers arrived at destination The move went smoothly and all the furniture was well protected from the rain and nothing was damaged. We noticed that her reviews are mostly negative and she expects that every retail and service company has pity on her and gives her a discount every time.

This is a amazing company. We have a 1b1b apartment and movers finish all job within 4 hours. Our movers, Jose and Miguel, are men who have little words but warm-hearted. They are so thoughtful. They packed everything, disassembled our bed frame. Good job!!

I don’t know how they got all these great reviews but my experience was awful. The movers where not the best and moved at a slow rate. They also exhibited discrematory behavior, so if you are a person of color I STRONGLY recommend you take your service else where. I have been trying to get in contact with customer service for a week and have still been given the run around. TAKE YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE! My favorite cusion was also damaged by there lack of care.
