The move only was for ten miles. They appeared to have a good supply of blankets to protect our furniture, but after it was done, there were several scratches in the finish of our very nice furniture. Was stonewalled by the local agent's customer rep, so I inquired at the headquarters claims department. Filled out the claim form, sent digital pictures of the damage, and indicated I would have the damage repaired and let them know how much. The furniture was repaired to our satisfaction and I indicated I was ready to agree to a settlement. The claims rep indicated my claim was waiting for approval. This situation has gone on for two months. My emails no longer get a response from the claims rep.Obviously this tactic has paid off for them in the past; the claimant just giving up and going away. It's a shame that a company that touts "The Best Move You've Ever Had" gets away with treating people like this.

Consumer Beware. Starving Students does not personally have a Tucson location. At least anymore. They sub-contract out to local movers which you can find on your own. Starving yes, to take a deposit. My family was given the impression that 'they' were moving them 5 miles down the street, and they didn't show up. In fact the moving service they gave our job to local here was 4 hrs. late and didn't finish the job. My family had to make car loads to finish the move. What a mess dealing with these guys, and the moving company themselves that wasn't fit to work. In fact the movers was so unfit they left their tools behind ..... lol. As a former moving business owner, shame on you. Since I have time ... it's getting looked at. Maybe I will start by sending a letter to the address provided and see if they get it here in Tucson.

BUYER BEWARE!! READ THE REAL REVIEWS, NOT THE CRAP THEY MADE UP THEMSELVES!! The movers waited until they had already started loading the truck to tell us about some of the extra fees, then more fees which I didn't hear about until the I called to complain about being over charged! They packed the truck with boxes first, and only about 5' high and then told us that they wouldn't be able to fit all the furniture and the rest of the boxes in (because they hadn't stacked everything correctly!) so my 67 yr old mother and I spent the next 2 days moving the rest of the stuff with our cars! When I called to complain, the assistant manager seemed very concerned and promised to get back to me after he talked to his manager. I sent in pictures I had taken of how the truck was packed incorrectly as proof that the movers had obviously gotten bored halfway through and just didn't finish the job. I never heard back from anyone at the company and when I called again, the number wouldn't go through!! I would NEVER suggest this company to anyone and I will definitely tell everyone I know what a horrible job they did. I am also adding to the incredibly long list of bad reviews that this company has all over the internet!
