  We had a great experience with my move. This is the third time that I have used Stevenson Transfer in the past 4 years. They are great people to work with. It’s very reassuring during a stressful time knowing they will be there and do as agreed. This past move we had Dave and Will pack and move me, they are the absolute best. They're both friendly, respectful and hardworking.

  These guys are the best! I did an in town move and the crew came early, we're courteous, Profesional and fast. Customer service was also fantastic from quote to bill. Definitely worth the money, and I doubt you would be able find a better choice anywhere regardless of price. Also, nice to employ a family owned business that has done a lot for Ottawa over the years. Great company all around!

  I hate moving. I moved from IL (South loop in Chicago) to South West Florida and Stevenson Transfer made this entire process completely painless. I had a 4 story home with years of belongings. I also have many high value items (over 20 guitars in my collection as well as other items ) that I adore and would never trust just anyone to move my stuff. We've all heard horror stories of companies holding items hostage until more money is paid to release them. Well, that was my biggest fear. I scheduled and rescheduled a couple of times, mainly due to my changing schedule but they accommodated my changes and were always upfront about the soonest available dates.The move estimation process was slightly off mainly due to my cluttered home situation but all-in-all I would not say it was unfair. If you pack well in advance, I'm sure the estimates would be much more accurate. The most important part of my move, which involved when the items would be picked up and delivered were all on point. I even shipped a vehicle down to Florida with them, rather than driving and even that arrived as promised. Additionally, I moved during one of the busy months and still got my items exactly when they said it would be there. 12 days. If you're like me, and you perform a ton of research before you make a decision, you will not regret going with this company. The peace of mind and ease of moving is really worth it with them. Nothing was damaged in the process. They pack their vehicles extremely well and handle your items with care. I never want to do an interstate move again, but if I had to I only wish Stevenson Transfer would be able to do it for me outside of Illinois.
