  Ahhh, one of my absolute favorite places in the whole wide world! The possibilities are endless and only confined by your imagination as to what you could make or produce with what they have in the store. From DIY contractors builders and everyday homeowners this is the place. Everything you could ever need or want under those categories can be found here as they have an excellent selection of just about any hardware related item, tools, lawn equipment, paints, landscaping, masonry, concrete, and lumber. This is the big one the Walmart of hardware stores if you're a local like me then you know the further north you go the cheaper things get. So with that being said this is the place for the cheapest prices and not only that the price match if you can find a cheaper price somewhere else. One of my favorite things about the big box stores Walmart will do the same. Now the bad, have you ever looked at something online and thought we have that (store) here, I wonder if it's in stock? Well as I've only experienced the latter with this store. If it's @ Home Depot.com you should call ahead and make sure they have it in stock as some things I have tried to find there that were available at the online store are usually not carried by our local Home Depot. Although their clearance rack is always a must see. (They keep it located in the very back by the back entrance to the garden section). This is always a must and sometimes really really good deals can be found on the clearance rack. Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes there really ain't much or you'll find stuff on there that's not marked down maybe 5 to 10% which is still a savings but when I think clearance I think extreme bargain.

  The Home Depot has ALMOST all your home improvement needs at a reasonable price. they are able to do this by buying in bulk for thousands of stores. I usually try to buy local and support local businesses, but when The Home Depot can beat the local prices by 10% or more then I'll take the savings. I like shopping local businesses because they are family and friends and these type stores have inventory that is very specific to that region/area. Local businesses will also have those "hard to find" or "area specific items" that big box companies categorize as low volume and is not profitable enough to stock. That being said Home Depot is the place to go for those common construction items. This store is maintained and stocked as per corporate policies and regulations.

  Got one star because I couldn't give them a zero. The Roswell, NM Home Depot may be the worst store in terms of customer service that I've ever experienced. They refuse to take back anything you ordered online, they disregard the price of things on receipts and will only refund in store purchases for the price of the item displayed on the day you return. Staff, especially the manager, is rude lazy, disrespectful, and completely incompetent.
