  Always have been a long time supporter of Home Depot. Until today…. Recently purchased a dishwasher and over the range microwave. Purchases in store and delivered by GE. Long story short the microwave did not fit. We called to see if they would accept the return. They said they would. So we took it in. They were unable to locate our purchase. Even though we had all of the paperwork. After awhile the employee asked us to step aside so he can assist other customers in line. Because he didn’t want to hold them up. Yes we were unimportant. Even though we were already being spoken to. Then he told us that they couldn’t accept the return and lied to us about the terms and conditions even though I had the paperwork in my hand. We left and ended up calling the manager. After several minutes we returned to the store and returned the microwave without any further incident. Completely disappointed with the service I received today and will be shopping at other stores in the area. I don’t appreciate being asked to step aside so he can assist other customers or the fact that the employees literally lied right to us about the rerun policy.

  Went to the oil city home depot on friday 2-25-2022 had a really good experience they had 9 of the 10 cabinets that i needed and i ordered the 10th, Danielle, Vicky and Billy were extremely helpful! However on returning home one of the cabinets was damaged so i returned it no problem till i went to purchase the last one they had in stock and it was damaged, they did offer $50 off but was not able to give me the 10% discount that i had got the day before for ordering 10 cabinets. The lady in customer service was fairly rude about it.

  As a veteran, I have always preferred Lowe’s because of their support of veterans, particularly through their military discount program. Home Depot has recently taken a step in the right direction by including veterans that served honorably… not just active and retired military. Unfortunately, their program excludes a significant number of products (such as lumber & other construction materials, appliances, etc!) and is capped at $400 per year. So… at least for now, I’ll be driving the extra 1/2 hour to Lowe’s for most major purchases. And… do not confuse this review as negative towards this specific store or their employees… who have always been very helpful; so, if you’re not a veteran, this store may be a good choice for you.
