  This was my second time using the HoneyMovers and they were amazing once again! We moved from Brooklyn to Emerson NJ and the team drove a uhaul to each of my locations and packed with expertise and care (seriously look at how full the uhaul was and NOTHING broke). Ian, Carlos, and Eddie were friendly, hardworking, and a pleasure to spend 6 hours with. If I move again they’re the only movers I’d consider even though I don’t live in Jersey city!

  Best moving company in Jersey City by far!! They’ve moved me 3 times since 2017 and are courteous, punctual and the most professional moving service I’ve ever used. The owner Adam and his crew are true professionals, they took extreme care with our stuff, an awesome experience all around highly recommended!

  BEWARE! Honey Movers assured us they could meet the insurance requirements of our building and pushed aggressively for a deposit and $35 Certificate of Insurance fee in order to secure our moving date. Come to find out just days before our move that they CANNOT meet the insurance requirements, forcing us to rebook movers and push our moving date out. They refunded our deposit but REFUSED to return the COI fee even though they could not provide an acceptable certificate. Honey Movers are incompetent, unprofessional, and dishonest - there are plenty of other moving companies in the area that can and will provide a robust COI (Alpha Movers, Moishe, Catlow etc).

  Hi James, we are sorry you feel that way. Requiring a deposit for a booking is a normal business practice; in fact, the companies you have stated have a higher deposits that are non refundable and operate on a much larger scale than our small business. We are a labor only company, providing only man power and help, which is clearly stated on our website and emails. Also clearly stated via email: our COI processing fee is non refundable. We pride ourselves on being an honest and up front company with all information and prices posted…we are one of the few companies to do this and will continue to provide excellent service to our ever growing customer base.
