  The crew from Movesmith were great to work with. They took great care to wrap up all of our furniture and carefully moved everything into our new place without causing any damage along the way. They asked questions when they were not sure about something and went above and beyond to ensure all of our things were just the way we wanted it. I'd recommend them to anyone.

  The MoveSmith helped us move about 30 minutes away. The crew was efficient, thorough and respectful. Our new location has four levels with three flights of steps. They navigated large furniture through the narrow stairway openings without ever touching or marking any walls. I feared that some of the furniture would be too large to fit but they figured out how to make it work. They also put runners on floors and stairs at both locations to protect the flooring and rugs. I highly recommend The MoveSmith as a moving company!

  We booked these guys based on reviews. They gave us a $580-$680 quote. They arrived on time and got to work. Seemed great and everything was loaded up. Went to meet them at new place and no one showed up. After 90+ minutes (30 minutes away) they arrive. They put stuff in new place. Then they proceed to tell us it'll be $930. I was like what??? He said well you booked 3-3.5 hours and it took 5. I said that's ridiculous. He then said how about $856? Unreal so we've been calling and texting DJ and Garrett and get no response from either. I would run fast from these guys. And watch for them to pull over for an hour and then bill you for it. The worst business I've dealt with in years. Edit: They are then not truthful in their response. They did not meet any of the posted times and know it. Garret let's his employees tell him anything and runs with it. Total lies and shady practices. Good luck out there.

  We are very troubled to learn of the negative experience you had with us. We do apologize for going over the estimate during your move. We do our best to provide accurate estimates based on the information provided to us. In the case of your move there were a few notable variables leading to these overages. According to our records it took us approximately 45 minutes to get from the origin to destination. I know it's shorter on Google maps, but we have to account for a semi-loaded truck driving slower than a passenger vehicle and occasionally longer routes due to low clearances or truck restrictions. When we arrived on site, you had arranged for a family member to meet us. Unfortunately they were not immediately present and we had to call you numerous times in order to get the contact information. Beyond that, we had to wait for another company to vacate the elevator prior to our use. Finally you had a sleep number bed which required extra attention and care when handling and assembling. You were billed from 9AM to 2:15PM, however 30 minutes were taken off in order to account for any possible inefficiency on our part. At the end of the day we were over our high end estimate by 1.25 hours. Again I'm sorry we didn't finish exactly as estimated, but I wanted to bring to light the variables that led to this overage which were out of our control.
