  Outstanding service. I'll never use another moving company again. These guys exceeded my expectations. The movers wrapped all of our furniture with blankets. They also shrink wrapped our mattresses and put bubble wrap and cardboard on our television for extra protection. Everything was stacked tight into the moving truck with plenty of room in it. I was worried things wouldn't fit, but it all fit perfectly. Unloading was really easy for them as they unloaded everything from the truck into my home in just under two hours. The move went better than I expected and I'm very glad I found these guys. I will call them again when I move without a single doubt.

  I will try to stick to the facts here. We moved in 2020 with another company (from DC, wish I could have used them again). In 2020 it took 10.5 man-hours to load AND unload a 26' truck with our stuff (the other company was AMAZING). In 2021 with Triangle Moving Service it took 15 man-hours. For our 2021 move with Triangle Moving Service, there was supposed to be 3 movers, but only 2 showed up. Needless to say, the price per hour was not 2/3 of the quoted rate, it was 85% of the quoted rate (truck costs, etc.). While they didn't do any serious damage to anything (we have mostly 2nd hand furniture anyway), they were not particularly careful. If you have furniture that isn't fancy or heirloom-quality they could be ok. But if you plan ahead, I would get a few other quotes.

  Here is our point of view on this move. We did complete a move for this customer and we did schedule to have 3 movers on the job. However, on the day of the move one of our staff was not able to make it to work. Usually we are able to figure out what to do to have a replacement but in this case it was not possible. I am sure we could have provided a less than qualified person on the job. That is not how we operate, so we sent the two present. It has been a very difficult year for all companies for finding qualified workers. It is not reasonable to compare one move with another outright in different cities and under different circumstances. There are many factors that can affect the rate movers compete a move including access to homes, items moved, temperature, weather, and many other factors. We sent this client two of our top movers. Both of them have worked here in excess of 15 years and came to us with previous experience. They constantly get rave reviews from our customers for their speed and efficiency, as do all of our crews. It is an oxymoron to say they were not careful but there were not any damages. How do you measure not careful? With regard to pricing, the rate for two movers for that day was $130 per hour or $150 per hour for three movers. On moves that run 4-5 hours there is not much difference pricewise whether there is a staff of two or three. It takes a little longer with two, but the price is lower so it works out about the same. After 5 hours pass, it then does become more expensive for the customer. Therefore, when the move was completed and the bill calculated we discounted the total by $100.00 to account for the discrepancy. This customer failed to acknowledge that discount. Yes, this move would have gone better had the third man been present, but this situation was out of our control. We did the very best we could under the circumstances and the move was completed as scheduled at a reasonable cost.

  I moved from an apartment to my first house and used Triangle Moving Service. I was able to get them on the phone right away and they set up an appointment to come out. The 2 men the company sent were clean cut, well spoken and 30 minutes early. They took great care not to damage any of my items while packing and unloading even though the furniture and materials they were moving were not high priced. They wrapped everything with moving blankets and nothing was broken during the trip. I would absolutely recommend this company to people who were moving and would use them in the future.
