  I placed my reservation for a cross country move a month and a half before my moving date. 36 hours before I was supposed to pick up the truck, they called me and said they were out of trucks and I could drive to Idaho to pick up a truck if I wanted to. No apology, no offer to help me resolve the issue. Literally cannot believe this company’s incompetence and complete lack of customer service.

  Pretty much the worst customer service ever. I guess if I had been an attractive 20- something year old blond female, like the customer in line in front of me, the service MIGHT have been better. After flirting and bending over backwards for her, I, an average male, was treated kind of poorly. Impatient, rude service. You know, you don't really talk your customers like they're an inconvenience. Won't be back to this location again.

  Wow Uhaul has been frustrating to work with! Consider trying Enterprise, Budget, or Penske. I made a reservation several weeks in advance and they told me that I had to use my own vehicle, own gas, own time and that of my partner, to get a truck in another town. It wouldn't have been so bad if they had compensated me for my time and gas. Instead, the state rep told me that there were a bunch of other customers in line to take my place. How's that for customer service! When a customer is moving, they're busy with a bunch of other arrangements and may not have time to do the job that their paying Uhaul to do. Expect long waits on the phone with Uhaul and for customer service to tell you to call some other Uhaul line where another customer service agent will send you somewhere else. These guys desperately need some competition to hold them accountable and to improve their reservation system and customer service.
