I've probably been to over 50 different Uhaul locations around the country over the years, and I can confidently say that this one is BY FAR the best I've experienced! Kyle, the owner, is incredibly helpful and provides a personal touch, unlike many of the other frustrating/corporate/cold Uhaul locations. This place keeps a well stocked inventory, able to accommodate my last-minute (poor planning) needs. If you have an option, choose this Uhaul location for your Santa Fe needs.

My fiancé and I rented a 20 foot truck and car trailer to take from NM to Washington. The service rep at the counter was helpful and straightforward. He appeared over qualified for the job and we appreciated his professionalism and careful instruction. That's where the good new ends. Two days into our 1500 miles trip we blow a tire on the highway. It was the inside rear, so luckily no accident. We searched the paperwork, contacted roadside assistance and soon enough a tow truck was set to meet us at our motel that evening. In the morning, the tire we arrived at the truck to a brand new tire and hit the road with confidence. About two hours into our drive the next day, yep, you guess it, we blew another tire! This time it's the drivers side front. If you haven't felt a 90 pounds of air pressure explode through a thick layer of rubber and steel well let me tell you, it's a wake up call. Lucky for us, I was able to steer the truck to the median safely and managed to find enough reception to call roadside assistance, again. Long story short: It appears U-Haul has an unofficial tire policy: if it ain't blown, we ain't fixing it. Only a matter of time before someone gets seriously injured if it hasn't happened already. Be careful.
