My husband and I needed local movers to move us from our house on Long Island, NY to Jersey City, NJ. I found U & M on Thumbtack, and saw that the reviews were very good, and that the price was very reasonable. So we decided to take a chance on them. And we were very happy that we did. Excellent service. Very nice young men, who knew exactly what they were doing. Got all of our belongings to Jersey City, unloaded everything, and in perfect condition. We couldn't have been more pleased. I highly recommend them, and would use them again if I ever need to move.

This moving company was amazing!!!We had a wonderful experience with our first move in the city . We hade dissembled all the furniture down to their parts but we were worried that that still wasn’t enough, but they handled everything. They came 15 minuets early and started the move.Got everything moved out of the apartment within 44 minutes. Wrapped all of the delicate things in moving blankets and loaded it all in a moving truck.Drove to the new place and hauled everything up to the new apartment in no time at all.The team was courteous and professional, and I highly recommend them!!!! Thank you so much !!!!

I needed to move a couch and love seat from ronkonkoma Long Island to sheepshead bay Brooklyn, they were polite and helpful gave me a reasonable price . Covered couches with protective padding and no damage . Couch was too big to fit by my door in Brooklyn house they helped me dissemble the door . I was very happy with the service .
