My husband and I hired U.S. Movers and Relocation to handle our move yesterday based on the positive reviews that we read. We had a less than stellar experience. Some positives first: I had pleasant exchanges with all three members of the crew and I empathize with how hard it was for them to move our furniture in the summer heat. However, it is not accurate to say that they will wrap all of your furniture before they move it. What they should say is that they wrap the top of your furniture in blankets and then they will smash the bottom of your furniture into their truck and door frames, leaving black marks and chipping off large chunks of paint. We identified damage on our kitchen table, kitchen chairs, dining room cabinet, and rolling kitchen cart. At one point, one of the movers had hoisted the base of our kitchen table on his shoulders (for unknown reasons because it wasn't even that heavy) and he slammed it into the top of the door frame of our new house. My husband and I both watched him do it and his only response was "oops." They did not wrap our kitchen chairs and my husband and I clearly both saw them sitting on the truck unwrapped as they were getting ready to leave our old house. When we called the office to report the damage, we were told that given the short distance of the move, they highly doubt that they caused the damage. Also the moving crew disputed our claim that the chairs were unwrapped. It's a great feeling when you see something happen with your own eyes, your furniture shows up damaged, and then the company won't even take responsibility for their actions. Great customer service. In addition to the damage done to several of our furniture pieces, there was a huge racket when they were putting together our bed frame in the master bedroom. When the crew left, we saw huge scratches about 3 feet long in our nice wood floors. I have tried to get rid of the scratches to no avail. I hope that the company will thoroughly investigate what happened yesterday and make us whole. The ball is in their court.

If you are reading this, DO NOT hire this company no matter what!!!!!!! They are unprofessional, unknowledgeable and an absolute NIGHTMARE to work with! I chose them because they had 4.5 stars and boy do I wish I had read reviews, because they have somehow found a way to make it appear they are a reputable business. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE- learn for my mistake ! DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! When I called Zula she seemed so sweet but please don’t let her fool you! After her movers got gasoline on my sons matress and cracked the screen of my tv, I reached out to her and see called me a liar and included horrible words. All I wanted my a credit for my destroyed items. She told me I was evil and told me she didn’t believe me- why would I pour gasoline on my sons mates and smash my tv? (I’ve attached screen shots of the HORRIBLE things she has said to me as well of photos of the damage. They also only sent one 26 foot truck when I told them I was moving a 2400 sq foot house. I was forced to get my own uhaul after she told me there was nothing that could be done. How does a moving company not have access to an additional moving truck?! I am not forced to have to take this company to small claims court. Learn from my mistake! If moving isn’t stressful enough, I now have to deal with the aftermath of this HORRIBLE company!!!!

I bought a house locally (11 miles from my previous residence) and hired them to move me back in April. The actual process of scheduling the move went fine and the move itself initially appeared to be sufficient. However, within 3 days of the move, my bar cabinet fell apart while sitting stationary as furniture pieces do. Upon investigation, it was clear that the item was damaged during the move. Not only was it damaged, the movers identified this and attempted to fix this themselves. I was NEVER informed during the move itself that my furniture was damaged. They instead took it upon themselves to "repair" it and then conceal the damage. How do I know they tried to repair it? I bought this bar cabinet in January and built it myself - in fact, I still had the installation instructions manual and I referenced it when I opened a claim with the movers. I called, emailed, and shared photos with Zula. No response after I emailed every 3 days for 2 weeks. Finally, I threatened them with contacting the BBB and my credit card. I received a response the same day. They wanted me to sign a release of liability stating that I could not file any additional claims for furniture damage. Due to the fact that they attempted to conceal the damage they knew about, I was not comfortable with this. What else was damaged in the move that they didn't tell me about? Can't wait til that falls apart later. I opened a case with my credit card and let them deal with the lack of business ethics from this place.
