  When we decided to move away from Austin because we couldn’t afford it, our new place was over an hour away. We looked for long distance movers figuring their rates would be more competitive. Unicorn Moving and Storage gave an estimate for 3 hours and a travel fee (to cover travel there and back after the move that was not included in the 3 hours). Our movers: Robert F and Ryan communicated when they were on their way, when they arrived, and how they planned to tackle the job once they saw everything we needed to pack. They were professional, courteous, respectful, efficient, friendly, helpful, and wonderful to have in a move!! We got everything done within the time frame even with the extra walking they weren’t expecting! Unicorn Moving must be doing a great job hiring quality people but treat them well if they have such longevity! Will recommend them to anyone moving within their radius- it was by far the best decision and investment I made in our move!! They took care of us!! **They were also great sports about letting me take photos of them for our memory wall!

  100% capable and professional moving service. The move was executed perfectly except that my TV was damaged in the process. Unicorn's claim team quickly solved the issue by verifying, recognizing and refunding the full replacement cost of my TV. This was despite my choice of basic insurance coverage that would have otherwise refunded a fraction of the value. For this reason I highly recommend Unicorn Moving and Storage. This all started after I received 3 mail advertisements from moving companies and I called each one. 2 answered and 1 didn’t. After speaking with Chili, his confidence and experience satisfied my vetting process regardless of price. I sensed that Unicorn would take care of this physical part of our move which is often a stressful chapter for most families. Post move, having a direct line with a respectful and polite claims specialist like Sal exceeded my expectations. But most importantly, the moving team was exceptional. From a personal standpoint, each member of the team took time to shake my hand, introducing themselves and to remember my name. I never heard foul language or bad attitude and they were even more kind to my wife and mother.

  There aren’t enough good things to say about Unicorn. I went with them after reading all their great reviews and I am so happy I did. Miguel and Summer are incredibly kind, professional men who loaded my stuff up with care (whole house in four hours!) which allowed me to start my cross country drive a day early. They were the same crew who drove my belongings and unloaded them at the destination (super important- you always want this). They maintained a positive, professional, upbeat attitude the entire time - which means a lot during a stressful time! And man do they have strength. They were kind to me, my pets, and my family. If I were ever to move again I’d call them in a heartbeat and request the same crew. On top of this, their pricing is extremely fair. I’d recommend this company without hesitation. The only feedback I’d have to offer is for the company to optimize its website for mobile to better reflect their amazing service. Don’t wait and if you’re looking for the best movers call them right away!
