  After first signing into a contract for one price, they decided to increase our rate by double because they said that we needed to have a 53 ft trailer. After the trip started, our items were then transferred to a 28 ft trailer, and they still kept the same, doubled price, meaning that this trip could have been completed in entirety with a 28 ft trailer. When they started the unpacking, we found that some of our items were damaged during the transfer from one trailer to the next. The manager was extremely rude and unprofessional and had us pay up front, in full, before items were unloaded. Additionally, our date for the transfer was the 4th, but instead was changed to the 3rd, which is typically not a huge issue; however, we were states away and had to rush to our storage because if we did not take the delivery date of the 3rd, they were unsure when they would be able to deliver in the future. I am a professional mover and usually know how these things work, we will not be using this company in the future and advise others to steer clear if they can.

  Very poor packing. Lots of broken items because items just piled in large boxes with no wrapping. Poor quality boxes - over 75% crushed. Used way too much tape and wrapped boxes and crates too tight. In response to Owner...yes, we paid $6,000 extra for services we did not receive - exclusive use of truck and a quick delivery and services we did receive which was all packing material provided by mover and items packed and moved with other people's stuff plus storage not requested. Plus we were charged an extra $3,000 for going over the estimated square footage despite it being LESS than the truck we paid the $6,000 for. So, yes, US Safe Moving DID use the quality of boxes seen in the photos. Over half of our stuff was not wrapped or care taken when packing. There was glass original artwork not wrapped and packed with heavy shredders. Monitors not wrapped and thrown in box with whatever was around. Just as the boxes were crushed so was a lot of our stuff damaged. We had original artwork worth over $20,000 damaged and had to pay to have it restored which reduces its value. We had to replace 3 computer monitors and many pieces of original artwork are damaged beyond repair. In addition, no attempt to remedy or return the $6,000 plus the extra $3,000 or anything for damaged items that were packed negligently. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

  HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. HORRIBLE. Find any other moving company. They lost two of my big boxes and multiple miscellaneous things AND have stopped answering all emails and phone calls. The guys who came to pick up my order did a great job of breaking my larger furniture down and taking my boxes. However the guys who dropped off my things parked ON OUR LAWN (while we have a nice driveway that they should have used), didn’t bring their own equipment to put everything back together, AND tried to give us items that did not belong to us. Honestly, do whatever you can to avoid this company. It’s been beyond a nightmare trying to resolve our missing boxes issue.
