I don't think anyone enjoys having to go to social services for help, but if you do find yourself in that position and meet with caseworker Marinda you are in good hands. She was incredibly understanding, kind, helpful, and just an all around great lady. She made me feel at ease and she did everything she could to help me.

Good morning, I’m writing this review because for years I have been to DSS. I have always been treated with kindness and respect. There have been a few employees that have retired but they are missed and I wish them well. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the employees are and they all do their jobs...The front office staff and the other employees are simply pleasant all the time.. Respectfully, Roxane Bartley

They're in the skin trade for the most part. Will exclude you from the bid process in a heartbeat. Difficult to do business with. Turnover is unreal. Toxic environment in my opinion. Don't do it alone if you have to lock horns. At least one current and one former local judge used to be the DSS attorney. A minefield at best.
