  I have never written a review but I will. This is supposed to be a premier service. Three people on their side told us the return trip was included. Then they said it wasn’t in the contract. So though they had verbally said it. Three diff ppl who speak for them they will not honor it. It’s $1800 a month to store this stuff. I have therefore had to arrange a whole diff company to move our stuff to another storage as $1800 is ridiculous!! Whenever I call my representative I will not hear back in the same day or for days. I do not recommend this service and to further add they didn’t complete the initial job. We needed up packing a whole lot more after they left. They did leave us boxes tissue and tape. Use dependable movers for packing I’ve used them for years ask for Dana or all my sons for moving. Both these companies respond quickly. Why did I use them? My realtor referred them and I relied on that info. But I am very disappointed in their lack of customer service, honoring what they said and the ridiculous cost to pay for the poor service. I got a space at compass storage for $339 a month climate controlled....

  This is my first google review, but I felt obligated as a productive member of society to warn other people who may want to use this moving company. I live in a 850 square foot apartment and I am moving 1 street over to another 1 bedroom apartment. One of White Glove’s project managers came to my apartment to “estimate” the cost of the move. I was not there, but my girlfriend was. She told me the PM was there for all of 2 minutes before he left and he basically just glanced at our apartment and our closet. A couple hours later I received an estimate for 1,900 dollars. Yes you read that correctly. $1,900.00!!! So I called the PM and he told me that it would take 4 movers approximately 7 hours to move our stuff basically across the street. We did not ask for anything to be packed, unpacked, taken apart, or hung up. Ultimately the majority of the move would be our bed, couch, table, and peloton everything else would be boxed up and ready to go. For reference I moved my whole apartment by myself with a Uhaul truck in about 6 hours. I got some estimates from 2 other moving companies. Their prices were anywhere between 375-500 dollars in half of the time. Long story short, use someone else.

  I feel this review is somewhat unfair. We charge by the hour and we always try to give you a worse-case-scenario so that we schedule plenty of time to accomplish any/all of your needs. Of course, if it takes less time you would only be charged for the time required. It is all simply stated within the estimate. Our apologies for any confusion.

  We used white gloves moving company to ship our things from New Jersey to Edison. To start with, people who showed up to pack and move the things in New Jersey were really friendly and did not show any hesitations in their faces when we said that we had more things than what were given in the list. Also the folks(Omar and Falso) who showed up in Texas to deliver the things were really friendly as well and they made sure that all the furnitures were assembled properly before they left the place. I strongly recommend this company who is looking for moving things from one place to another.
