  Do not ever waste your money on this company. Let's start off with the representative do not give you the full information when you book with him. Let me start off by saying I moved from Massachusetts to Florida, this was my first ever state to state move. The representative I spoke to told me that there was a promotion going on where they were include loaders for free when I purchased a unit with them. So when the date came, the loaders were very nice men despite the fact that they dropped a headboard for my bedframe. They were even helping me pack the two TVs that got damaged, Which apparently they didn't have to do because there's a difference between Packers and loaders. Which moves me on to the main reason I am writing this terrible review for this company, I was told by the initial representative that I booked the unit with that I would have $10,000 worth of damage property. So with the two TVs broken (one was a 75 inch TV and one was a 55 inch TV) and the bedframe I only asked for under $3000. So after waiting 90 long days for a determination, they denied for paying for my two TVs that were damaged in the move simply because I did not pack them in a box. I'm not even sure where I would be able to find a 75 inch box, again this was my first ever move so I was not informed that I'm supposed to pack a TV in a box. This whole moving experience has just been so stressful mainly because of this company. I feel I deserve a reimbursement for the objects that were damaged and the amount of time I had to be without those 3 items. Here attached are the pictures of my damaged items, the 2nd tv wouldn't even turn on.

  I used PR for an intern move and was very satisfied with their level of service. The movers were prompt and on-time, very efficient, and just generally good people. The price quoted was the true cost with no hidden fees. Great communication between the company, the movers, and me. I hate moving, but they took all the stress away and will definitely recommend them in the future .

  Having moved way too many times, I have experienced my share of moving companies. I would rate Pack-Rat as my favorite! They not only do everything you would expect from a moving company, but they go beyond your expectations. I felt cared for as an individual and they take care to understand our specific needs. Each individual I spoke with handled our situation and cared for my belongings with respect and professionalism. This company is my only recommendation rom here on out to anyone needing moving and/or storage.
