  DO NOT USE this company! I was moving from San Antonio to Southern California. I was originally using a uhaul that held 1000 cubic sq ft and just couldn’t fit 3 items in. In the rush to move out on time, I called this company. In my initial phone quote, their representative was trying to give me a quote that I knew to be too low. She quoted me for a 4 bedroom house at $800-$900. I pushed them for a quote of $1300, to even be an over quote of my belongings. The crew that came just had to unpack the uhaul and transfer it to their truck. I also paid additionally to have my closet packed in wardrobe boxes. I confirmed and agreed to 1 package of boxes. Half way through the lead driver said it’s a lot more than quoted and would be $4300! I said fine and signed off on the increase. I then went and ran a couple of errands and came back to the job being suddenly finished. The lead driver said he needed me to review documents before leaving. The documents were for $9498!!!! I refused to sign. I told them to unload the truck. That it was bait and switch with over an $8,000 difference! They refused and drive off saying that my belongings would be in a storage unit in Dallas, Texas... 6 hours away from me! They held my belongings hostage and finally extorted the money from me! Once I did get my belongings... the boxes were almost empty! I have tons of pictures showing huge boxes used for minimal item space! So my items went from 1100 cubic feet to 3400!!! That’s how they got the volume reflected in the truck! I had about half of my possessions ruined with breakage, gouges, and insects. Boxes were also missing of mine; however, I have boxes that were not mine!!! I even tried to return them so their rightful owner could get them back... and this company refused!!! Luckily I could claim my move in my taxes so I’m not out too much. But they only took $350 off the bottom line. I will NEVER use this or any moving company. I will ALWAYS use a self move company and know that I’m taken care of!

  My son was graduating from college and he found a new apartment in Boston. MA. He asked me to hire a moving company to move his and his roommate’s stuffs out of their room from Dallas, TX and move to Boston. I hired Across USA Moving & Storage because they are just too good. They gave me a very nice quote this time for a 4-men-crew. The men went to my son’s dorm and packed up everything well. He and his roommate had already packed a lot of boxes. The movers worked very quickly and wrapped up all work in under 2 hours. I received the delivery 10 days later in Boston and everything was in very good condition. Even their storage facilities were so good that nothing suffered any damage. The men also unpacked everything and put the furniture in place at the new apartment. They really are good at all sectors of this business.

  My friend moved to California 3 months ago and he has been telling me about his movers damaging all his furniture in the storage facilities they were kept. So, naturally, I was very concerned when it was time for me to move to Charleston, SC from Dallas, TX. After looking through online reviews I decided to hire Across USA Moving & Storage. Turns out they employ some of the most capable men in business (Randy – sales rep, Brandon – foreman and his helpers) and they have excellent storage facilities. All my stuffs were neatly packed and moved to the storage unit. They turned up in Charleston on the given date right on schedule completely unharmed. I was very happy with their services. I called my friend and advised him which company to hire next time he moves.
