  Great service! Juan and his crew were excellent. Not only did they provide a high level of service, but they were also very quick and efficient. I could not imagine moving again without utilizing a moving service like amplified. As someone who has moved a few times before with a U-Haul and friends helping, this was a totally different experience. You’ll thank yourself for paying the money and having professionals like Juan and his crew at Amplified help you make your move into a stress-free process.

  PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM AMPLIFIED MOVING. I chose Amplified Moving after reading the reviews online. Mine was a local move in May. They are super nice over the phone when you are discussing the move and obtaining the quote. However, this will change as soon as you finalize with them. More so, they will turn on you as soon as there is something adverse (damages etc.). First, the movers were 45 mins late in arriving at the location, even though I had clearly mentioned that the apartment complex has a set time limit for blocking of elevators. Mine was the only move they were doing that day! I'm sure moving day is quite stressful for a lot of us. And this got worsened for me due to the folks arriving late. They asked me to sign paperwork which I did quickly so that the move could begin. Only later did I realize that Amplied Moving will hold this against you if you don't spend a lot of time understanding what exactly you are signing. The movers just told me it's standard paperwork that includes the insurance options. They didn't even provide the brochure that is required by law. I signed the paperwork in good faith. Second, I was surprised that the movers didn't even bring moving blankets for protection! They said "we don't have that, but don't worry, we are careful". The next thing I see is that there are a bunch of damages, including a deep and big scratch on the apartment main door! Upon completion of the move, when I raised these concerns, I was told that I should pay the amount agreed in the quote; and that the damages can be taken care of by the claim process. But when I sent the claim request, I was then told that since I signed the paperwork with standard insurance selection, scratches would not be covered. Moreover, any damages to the apartment are not covered! Upon me pushing back, they said they'll get back on the claim in 30 days. However, it has been 60 days since the claim request and I haven't received any response, even after sending multiple emails. Anyone in the process of selecting movers for their move- PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM AMPLIFIED MOVING. It is the handling of adverse situations that is a true reflection of a company, and shows how much they care about customers. Amplified Moving failed in this regard!

  We hired amplified moving for our local move from Hoboken to Jersey City - overall very happy with the service! The movers were on time, efficient, and careful. There were some issues due to miscommunications between myself and the Company, but they were willing to work it out immediately. Would definitely recommend this company!
