  Cross Country Long Distance Movers (a/k/a New Destiny Moving Services LLC) picked up our household items end of June and it is now 41 DAYS LATER, and we still DON'T HAVE A DELIVERY DATE. The mover wrote on the contract "6/26/21" for "1st date available for delivery." We call this company several times a week to mostly get voicemail and no return call, or a live person who tells us there is a delay due to shortage of trucks and drivers, and has to contact the dispatcher for delivery date and will call us back, which they never do. For the past two weeks we have been told "your household items are loaded on a truck and will be delivered on Sunday or Monday," but still no delivery of our household items. It should have been a red flag when someone from the moving company texted us without using their name the night before our scheduled pickup date to say there was a one day delay, and the movers showed up 1.5 hours late on the pickup day with a U-Haul truck. The mover told us they would move our household items to a warehouse in New Jersey to then be transported in a larger moving truck co-mingled with other deliveries. We DO NOT recommend using this moving company unless you like waiting and waiting, then be lied to week after week. There are over 30 complaints on the Better Business Bureau website for this company, which we, unfortunately, didn't check before scheduling our move, so please beware of doing business with this company.

  This is a review for New Destiny Movers also known as Cross Country Long Distance Movers. DOT No. 3051646 (not sure if this is the company you considering? Ask for their DOT number, I am giving it to you) This company has been reviewed by me and the review mysteriously disappeared? So I am writing it again and will do over and over to warn potential customers. USE this company if…. 1. Time doesn’t mean anything to you. These movers scheduled a delivery date between Wednesday – Friday and showed up the following Thursday. 2. You wanted to get rid of your stuff. Two boxes of photographs gone. 3. You don’t mind being lied to. Zach, the guy who called and called and called us for our business disappeared after we signed this company on. What happened to “being there for the whole process”? 4. You have your own repair service. 5, yes 5 things showed up damaged and one was destroyed. An oil painting torn after being wrapped in a piece of my fabric? See pictures. Check with your home insurance to make sure you can afford the deductable because with the standard coverage of .60 cents a pound, an 8 pound $3000 painting isn’t going to get repaired with $4.80. 5. You love puzzles. The container arrived with all your belongings jammed from side to side, bottom to top. Chairs inside chairs! They had 4 deliveries packed into one truck with no signage indicating anything. I had to stand there and identify my items and have the pleasure of finding all my damaged belonging; two legs broken off a chest of drawers, a marble top cracked, paintings chipped…see pictures. 6. MONEY, you have so much of it! Whatever the quote is, it isn’t going to be what you paid. For example, I had to pay the building extra money because the movers came so late that we went past closing time. Just on and on. 7. You love being on the phone. All those hours calling the Cross Country to see when they were going to arrive! Can I have those hours back??? 8. You have been warned.
