To start off, this is going to be one long ass complaint! And we should be able to give negative stars for companies that deserve it! This company did our move out of Carson. The first day, we had 2 movers come and pack. They did a pretty decent job packing for only 2 workers. They didn't arrive with crates and I was told a new crew would arrive the next day to finish up. This was supposed to be a 2 day job. 4 workers showed up the next morning. The only positive I can say is that the lead worker did a thorough job of inventorying. They seemed to have been getting the job done that morning. Come mid afternoon they barely made a dent in a 4 bedroom home. At around 7pm they still had 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living room and more than half of the garage to go. A few more workers show up, to help finish up they said. They were at the house well after midnight!!! Keeping my neighbors awake and my children awake. The lead mover told me their manager wanted them to finish up. This after midnight. Their manager is an idiot. But the workers can't complain, they are paid hourly and that's some good overtime. My wife and I are very patient people. We have moved numerous times and have never encountered movers like Apaca. We have always thought to treat movers well. That way, less theft and better handling of our belongings. We provide all our movers with lunch, dinner if they're still around at 7pm, snacks and drinks. It wasn't any different for Apaca. We were patient even when they were still at our home having a party around the pizza I provided as a 2nd late dinner, after midnight. Come the next day when it should have just been loading, they were still packing. Yup! Till early evening. But what're you going to do? You can't be an ass to them or your things won't be packed properly. Being nice bit me in the ass. My HHG arrived almost a month late. Apparently Apaca didn't ship them out as scheduled and my things were sitting in their warehouse for an extra month!! We just received partial shipment. NOT ONLY DID THESE MORONS SEND MY HHG LATE, THEY MISPLACED 2 CRATES AND SENT ME ONE WRONG CRATE!!!!! They packed a Swiffer mop on one of those thick wrappers rolled multiple times. Because who would want to receive a broken Swiffer mop, right? But of course a Mac can be wrapped once and placed in the same box as another desktop, NO FILLERS, NO OTHER PADDING! 2 freaking computers on top of each other in a box that was too big!!! The box was smashed but luckily the computers weren't damaged. They wrapped curtain rods in the same careful manner but decided to half ass wrap dressers. They double wrapped bins, PLASTIC BINS!!! And taped it like there was no end to that roll. To top this wonderful experience, these ass***** decided to pack us a nice surprise. The trash from the food we provided them!!!! If you read this far, I hope you NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!

This review will be strictly in regards to the packing side of our experience. We have not completed the moving side and will review that once we receive our household goods. The packing services were AMAZING. I will be honest and say at first I was not very pleased. There was a miscommunication that caused the first day of packing to be pushed back several hours and I was very concerned that we would not get the packing done in order for our household goods to be picked up on time. HOWEVER, the miscommunication did not prevent the packing timeline to remain the same. I was very impressed. The first day we got Mike and he was super quick, professional and organized. He helped walk me through what was going to happen the next few days, this was my first time having a company pack our house, which really helped me feel more comfortable with the entire process. He was also GREAT with our two dogs and didn't mind them being present in the house. I really didn't want to have to kennel them or put them outside and he was so accepting of that. The next two days I had the pleasure of meeting Vivian, Paxton, and Kenny. They were all very professional, had GREAT communication, were kind, organized, and ensured our goods were packed with the best care. They ensured they could answer all of my questions and if they couldn't they asked someone who could and got back to me promptly. I really cannot express my gratitude for Vivian, Paxton, Mike, and Kenny. They were incredible to work with and made my first packing experience a pleasure. :)

Worst company ever to pack you!!!!!! We are military and had our shipment scheduled to be packed up the 19-21 of June. The first day the packing company that Cartwright contracted out to pack us (Apaca) brought four crates and loaded all four crates just fine. The second and third days they came with a moving truck because they’re truck with the crates “broke down” and loaded down the moving truck to take our stuff to the warehouse and unload and load into crates. I was really worried about that because we didn’t see our stuff get packed into crates and sealed. I was right to be worried!!!! They mixed our stuff up with a guy that was PCSing to Hoenfels Germany. When we finally received our stuff, we received two crates full of his stuff and three of our crates were sent to Germany. It is now 10 September and we still don’t have our stuff. Every time I call Cartwright to get an update they tell me the same thing. They are waiting on answers from Germany and they have no control over the shipment coming back from there! I am getting frustrated because my daughter still doesn’t have her crib (she’s been sleeping in a pack n play that we had to buy) we are missing half of our kitchen items that we had to go out and buy new utensils and pots and pans. I still don’t have half of my clothes and I’m now expecting again and don’t have my maternity clothes!!! Those are EXPENSIVE to replace!!!! I have valuables that were given to me from my mother (who is no longer with us) that I can’t replace the meaning to! All of it could have been avoided had Apaca done a better job of paying attention!!! If you have a choice in the matter (we did not being military) ***DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!
