  My Husband and I looked into Apex moving for our cross country move in August. I gave an itemized list to Billi and was quoted between $3800 and $6800 but it would be confirmed with an in home estimate. We scheduled an in home estimate with James on Friday. We were extremely pleased with James and what Apex moving stands for. James left and ensured us we would have our quote by Wednesday. Come Friday afternoon and we still had not heard from James; we reached out to Billi to which she informed us that they were currently transitioning into a new interstate partner. She let us know that we would hear from James by Monday at the latest and again we didn’t hear back until Tuesday. When it came to our quote we were quoted $6586 even though we are taking half of what we listed in the itemized quote (I feel it should be known that the only large furniture we are taking are 2 bedroom sets - that aren’t even full bedroom sets. The rest is a few small things like amps and guitars and boxes). We were also told that because they don’t know their peak season prices the final price could change (who wants to hear that when moving!?). We emailed James back requesting for clarity in the price and additional questions regarding to the move. After 8 days of no response I sent a follow up email; it has now been 5 days since that email with no response at all - not even an acknowledgment. We had such high hopes and are completely disappointed with the lack of responsiveness and the lack of knowledge in summer rates. Everyone else we spoke to used a percentage to calculate the cost of the summer rates and if we booked inside the dates that the quote was active we were then locked into that price. Between the cost, the responsiveness and the lack of locked in pricing we have given up on Apex and have taken our money and business elsewhere.

  I got out of an abusive relationship. My ex withheld my property from me and finally gave me one, short notice day that hired movers could come and pick up my property. It seemed like every place I called was booked. Apex Movers called me right back, had availability even with a short notice and cheaper rates than the other places I called. They kept me informed along the way and were so friendly, supportive and professional in moving my items and in understanding my situation. Here’s to healthy new beginnings- thank you so much Apex!

  We had a great experience with APEX. The guys that came out did a great job and were careful with our house and belongings, friendly, and helpful. The office team was very accommodating when we had to adjust our time slot due to our POD delivery. I would use APEX again and would highly recommend for anyone looking for quality movers.
