STAY AWAY!!! The worst experience I’ve ever had with any service, period. My wife and I were promised a “white glove service” where we can just “sit back and relax” while our stuff was moved. We received the furthest possible concept from that, as the three guys who came to love our stuff were incompetent, inept, and inexperienced. One facetimed the entire time in one our rooms. One threatened us with a felony if we weren’t happy with the service and didn’t want to pay, and one was a teenager. Four times they told us they were done, and four times we had to physically walk them to drawers, bathrooms, and ENTIRE ROOMS that were not finished. We paid two down payments that were ignored at the time of moving, so when we paid and signed it was more than we were told. We’ve been emailing and calling for 30 days with no resolution over a dispute of over $1000. They left our place trashed, so we had to hire a professional cleaner before the new people moved into the house. We were planning on leaving the night of when they arrived in the morning but had to spend several hours finding additional things they missed and packing our already filled car with things they assured us they packed. They left several pieces of our wedding arch, which we couldn’t fit into the car and had to leave. They haven’t resolved our dispute so we haven’t been able to buy Christmas gifts for our family. They haven’t responded to calls and emails every day. STAY AWAY FROM AXIS!!!

I decided to wait until well after this full service was provided before providing my review. I must say, this had to be one of my worst experiences as a consumer. I dealt with rep Charlie Stevens during the sales process who made all the claims about how "his guys" will do this and "his guys" will do that. Well, the company who comes to pack up your items is one different company, the company who moves it across the country is another and the company who unloads it is another. None of these companies are AXIS Van Lines. AXIS has no control over who any of these companies are and to make claims that these are their people who they vet thoroughly is extremely false. Charlie claimed he checks in with his customers about once per week leading up to the actual pickup date. After he took my deposit over the phone, he disappeared. He never responded to another text, email or took a phone call. Thankfully, I was able to reach a very kind lady in customer service who would actually take my call and answer my questions. The movers who packed up the items had no care for the items they were packing. They stacked light and fragile items on the bottom and heavy items on top. I was provided a thorough estimate of every box and piece of furniture I had. When the movers arrived and packed everything up, they said I was way over the estimate. The price I paid ended up being $5,000 more than I was quoted (!!). I was originally quoted $7,000. How is it possible to be that far off when estimating your items? Charlie promised me during the sales process that as long as I don't add anymore items to my inventory list, my price is guaranteed. Well I didn't add any more items to my inventory list... Once I unpacked the items, I realized the movers had most of the boxes half empty. You are charged per the box and I'm sure they know this.... This seemed like an intentional strategy. Somehow, my large couch was lost in the move as was a night stand. A crib was scratched to pieces, as was a kitchen table and bookcase. An electric grill was broken, a homemade night table with large sentimental value was broken to pieces, among other items. I'm now in the middle of the claims process that can take up to 120 days for a response. I'm sure AXIS Van Lines will point fingers and blame all the issues on the other companies, but yet, somehow, all the other companies are also "their guys" who are thoroughly vetted, per the sales rep. Stay away from AXIS Van Lines. You will be promised everything, delivered very little and will be charged nearly twice what you were quoted to have items lost and damaged.

It was an awesome experience. This was our second shipment made and was delivered more then We expected. The service was good and Axis Van Lines was an excellent. We would recommend that everyone must use their service. From packing to movement of goods and finally the warehouse service was up to the mark and exceeded our expectation...!!!
