  If it was possible to give zero stars I would. We moved from NJ to Florida and hired Beltmann. There was so much stuff damaged due to careless packing and handling. Some examples: 2 sterling candelabras thrown in a box with wooden shelves from a Stickley Shelf. All of the arms of the candelabras broken off and shelves scratched (see photo). Top of a Stickley Armoire broken off (see photo); parts of our baby grand piano lost and the lacquer finish damaged in multiple places; the "parts box" arrived (photo) with a big slash in the side and parts missing, including the parts needed to put one of our beds together; doors broken off our wine fridge; leg broken off an antique sideboard (photo); several lamps damaged including an antique Chinese lamp with the wooden base in pieces in the box (photo). If you love your belonging and don't want the hassle of an insurance battle, hire someone else for your move.

  I worked for beltmann for 3 years. 3 years of my life that I wish that I could erase. Don't work here if you value yourself. This place will make you feel like you are dirt beneath the management's feet. They do not appreciate talented people. The narcissistic men will do whatever feel to prove women are not smart or intelligent enough to have a voice. It was worse than being in an abusive relationship. Never have I ever been subjected to screaming and closed door meetings like that. I am typing this for the person seriously considering this place. Tread carefully or you'll be squashed.

  Excellent packing, loading, transporting, and unloading. We moved from MN to OH and had a great experience with Beltmann. The salesman's estimate was spot on, the packing crew was exceptional, the loading/unloading crews were wonderful. Never once during the process did we worry about whether our belongings were taken care of. We would highly recommend this company for anyone's relocation. They made relocating stress-free.
