  From start to finish Ian Robbins was clear about the process and checked in with me during my whole move. I really liked that I had the same guys that loaded my place where the ones who unloaded it, I moved from GA to FL. The movers we kind, professional and handled my items like they were their own. They really made the relocation process very smooth!!!

  This move was perfection from start to finish! The packers and unpacked were great! The salesman, Ian was the most thorough and professional we interviewed. He was very involved and responsive! Our driver, T.J. was an absolute delight and went out of his way to communicate every step of our move. He treated our furniture and belongings as if they were his! I would request him if I ever moved again! Excellent experience all around!

  Beltmann provided me with a truly horrible moving experience and I would NEVER, under any circumstance recommend them for use. If you are reading this, just use someone else even if its a bit more expensive. TL;DR - they delivered my stuff 3 weeks late. What's worse, they knew they were going to be late (because they sent my stuff to Florida instead of Illinois) 2 weeks before the move but did not tell me UNTIL THE DAY OF. If you are not convinced, here's the full story: I contracted Beltmann via North American Van Lines to move my studio/1BR apartment from Atlanta to Chicago in summer 2021. Ian R. was my salesperson. He was fine, although he promised to provide me moving boxes which he never did. On the day of the move, the movers did show up by 2.5 hours late. I never received a call from Tia my customer service rep indicating they were running late or when they were on the way. Fast forward about 2 months, and its moving day! I called Tia (my customer service rep) the Friday before to confirm but she never picked up the phone or called back or responded to my email. The next correspondence I received was on moving day to find out my stuff will not be delivered. According to Tia, they found out two weeks prior that my crates (two total) were sent to South Florida instead of Chicago. They never bothered to share this detail with me up to now. So, I was surprised when four hours later (2 hours after move in window), some movers show up with half of my stuff (one of two crates). Mind you, this did not include my mattress, towels, sheets, TV or any of my clothes. I guess its some consolation that I got my couch. That day and the coming weeks I spent cumulative hours on the phone with my sales consultant Ian, the customer service rep Tia and the operations manager, all of whom continued to blow hot air about what happened and when my things would be delivered. After the initial contract drop off date of 8/09, I was promised delivery on 8/24, 8/25 and 8/27. But they continued to lie about the state of my items. They were either on a truck, "stuck" in a warehouse, blah blah blah. Finally, my items were deliver 9/01, three weeks after my contract date. I submitted a delay claim, as the contract states a $75/day late allowance, which in my case totaled over $1700. I received an email today indicating I was receiving a check of $199. I will be disputing through American Express or in court.
