  This use to be a great storage place when David had it. Now they are charging 17.88 late charges one day late. I only get paid on the third and rent is due on the 1st. The new owner's also want everything to be done on line. Just everything else. Not everyone has internet and bank cards. Not very happy with big rapids storage anymore

  Hi Tammy, We are disappointed to see your response after changing your due date, and refunding all fees PRIOR to this review. While 17.88 may seem like alot, the amount of time spent having staff chase down payments is significant and most of the time more than the amount of the fee itself. In your case 7 emails and 7 text messages, 2 postmarked emails and 2 phone calls were not enough to have you avoid a late payment past your due date let alone a response. When when we spoke on the phone you mentioned not being aware of any changes. That amount of followup to ensure customer service takes alot of time. We simply ask if you are having difficulty with your payment to contact us, rather than having us take considerable time attempting to contact you. You are still able to mail payments to a PO Box, or pay with a checking or savings account online or over the phone but unfortunately we do not have a designated person onsite to accept cash payments. In the first month of operations, management has doubled the amount of customer service hours, added an online platform that allow customers to book, text and view your profile online, in addition upgrading 24/7 video surveillance system. We would hope this would please most customers, but in your case we will try better.

  Great place to deal with rented a unit for my daughter she didn't need it they promptly refunded everything except the setup fee. I got to keep the heavy duty combination lock they provide. Wish more places were like this.
