  Reserved the truck, place was CLOSED when I got there (at noon,) with no signs of life inside or no note. Called the 800 number immediately, they could not explain why they were closed, was given the run around. Will never do business with them again!!!

  We reserved a moving truck thru Budget 10 days in advance for an out of state move from Pennsylvania to North Carolina. As soon as we arrived to pick up the truck (the day before we planned to move), the man working told us that the truck we reserved had a Check Engine light on and that no one had checked it out. He said there were NO other truck options available for us, but it “should be fine”. Clearly, we didn’t want to drive a truck with a check engine light on for 500+ miles when no one from Budget had even taken a look at it. How unsafe is that? Then, we had to scramble to get another moving truck same-day because Budget was so unorganized and unhelpful. Would not recommend renting a truck through this company or location. Went with U-Haul instead.

  Made reservations a week in advance... Doesn't seem to mean anything to Budget! They had no trucks when we arrived! There was another customer that had been waiting for a truck since Thursday, and the only truck that was in the area had been due back at 9am. Thanks for a great moving day Budget!
