  Just as the name suggests, it is hard to find quality help on a budget. I reserved a 16-foot truck three weeks before my move date. On the day of my pick up I was informed that New Bern did not have a 16-foot truck and that I would have to drive to Havelock. When I arrived at Havelock their 16-foot truck was reserved for someone who had called in that morning and my only option was something much smaller. My consolation? $100 off the smaller rental. I would rather have paid the $100 and be able to physically pack and move my household goods. Thanks Budget.

  One point is too much for this hideous business. I had reserved a truck and car transport. When the truck was loaded, I was informed that they cannot get a car transport. I was told that the Uhaul has a tow dolly I could pick up. When arriving, the place was closed. I was leaving the next day. Calling Uhaul, they said they do not even rent tow dollies for use with non Uhaul trucks. I ended up having to rent Uhaul equipment for next day (my actual moving day) and have the cargo transferred between trucks. Needless to say, I was stressed beyond belief. When I got understandably upset on the phone, I was told this sometimes happens and then click. Budget offered a nominal consolation payment that did not even cover the cost difference for my rental. This place should be closed for good.

  I filled the truck up with gas and returned the truck. She is going to charge me for the gas from the service station to her business. I will never do business with them. I will use some one else from her forward. Uhaul or Penska.
