  Rick is amazing! He moved my grand piano and I have him service both my grand and stand up. Very professional and reasonably priced! I’m a repeat customer. Highly recommend.

  Rick is extremely knowledgable and professional. He safely moved and tuned our Yamaha grand (which is played 3 + hours a day) and has tuned our other grand piano with great results. My son has perfect pitch and rarely is he happy with a piano tuner! We look forward to continued regular tuning and work on our grand pianos through Carter Piano Services.

  They moved my piano just fine, but over the phone I had asked for a move AND tune and was told $180. Seemed fair. Due to some calcified rat pellets blocking some of the keys from working, he told me I could do it myself and then asked for the 180 dollars. I'm not a scientist, but I think I was ripped off. Customer service receives a 0 score and now that it's cleaned out, I'll offer the star(s) back when he makes a trip back to earn the rest of the money I gave him.

  Will, again I apologize that there was a misunderstanding about my fee but I would suggest you call around as most reputable moving companies charge more than 180 for a full size upright move. I don't usually quote one price for moving and tuning as they involve separate appointments. As for the rat pellets, I took the piano apart and let you know what was causing the sticking keys so you could save having a technician make a service call to fix it. I don't think most movers would bother...I believe my customer service is well above average and my prices are very reasonable. I'm sorry you feel differently.
