This company has great policies and practices set in place. Other than a few minor damages, our experience was GREAT with everyone EXCEPT David Williams! He lied from the day before we met him! Always some issue, some reason, and BS excuse. Not one single time did he call back as he said he would. When he finally sent the paperwork, when I opened the email, the invoice belonged to someone else. In one instance, he even went as far as to tell me that his General Manager suggested that we offer the driver "some cash" to divide the deliveries between storage and the house. Mind you when he ""sold" us on the deal, there would be no charge for that. That was a lie, and one that I immediately reported. Not only is that against company practice, but could be considered illegal. None of it would have been necessary if he had given the correct dates and times. I'm sure he could figure out some way to place the blame on us, but we only requested three changes. 1) We changed our minds. We moved to Texas instead of Arizona ( that was while the furniture was still in storage)only change needed was the location on the paperwork. 2) Initally, we thought we'd leave it in storage for three months, changed to a year, 3) and then requested it be delivered ASAP. Surely a REAL BUSINESS MAN could handle that. I'm not knocking the company, I'd use them again, but I would REFUSE TO WORK WITH DAVID WILLIAMS! He's a liar, has no respect for other peoples time, and in my opinion, one of the worst people I've ever done business with. Coleman.. David Williams (business boy) he stole 2 of your stars!

Unfortunately, I've had a really awful experience with Coleman/Allied when they moved me from Nashville to Los Angeles. There were nearly 30+ incidents that I had to reach out to customer service about, such as a mover not letting me know his mask broke and going maskless in my home (after informing the crew I have health conditions), a mover blowing his nose and not washing his hands afterwards (I had to ask him to use hand sanitizer before touching my things), not notifying me when my items arrived in storage, losing 3 of my boxes, multiples boxes being crushed, my service provider in LA being switched without notifying me, not organizing or packing my immediate storage pick-up items correctly, and much more. Coleman didn't even apologize when a supervisor reached out to me and left a voicemail and email. She also refused to give me any money back. I called back to express my dissatisfaction and asked if she could call me back so I could speak with her directly, but she has yet to reach back out. I also reached out to Allied corporate's customer service and was told I'd receive a response within 1 business day. It's been 3 business days and I haven't heard anything. I cannot recommend this company at all. The Allied moving company on the LA end even said that they don't like working with Coleman because of how it conducts its business. Mistakes happen, but the amount of problems has been excessive and its customer service has been nonexistent.

I hired this company to move my household from TN to AL because the salesman was very engaging and took his time to review the house and my belongings. The quote was given with a cap on it so no matter what the weight, I would not have to pay more for the move, which was already $7600. The movers came and had to use a transfer to use a transfer truck to get my belongings to the van. There was the driver, his older son, a deaf guy, three other guys and the drivers 14 yr old son. What is a 14 yr old doing working on a job site when he should be in school. Not to mention what would OSHA think about it? These guys literally stuffed my things into this UHaul truck regardless of the boxes being market fragile or not. They worked all day but towards the end of the day they understandably started getting tired...and sloppy. There were quite a few things not loaded that should have been wrapped by them and taken. Not to mention they used the time to try to teach a 14 yr old how to wrap couches and carry heavy boxes. They smoked in my yard and left their buts everywhere along with empty water bottles that I had to clean up afterwards. And there was a smell of Marijuana around 2 of them. That was just the origin stop. The delivery started out ok but its very difficult to tell a deaf gut where things belong. Boxes ended up in wrong rooms or piled high on top of each other even though they were marked fragile. When I asked thw driver, who was the one that was supposed to be in charge why things were just thrown everywhere he blamed it on a language barrier. Really!!! As the day went on they started just stacking boxes in the garage making a huge clutter. I was like they were hurrying to get done and gone. I have attempted to call my sales associate on severally occasions and he has not returned my calls. So now I am stuck with multiple large items, one being a 50" big screen TV that was left behind, my cushions and several glass shelves among quite a few other items to figure out how to ship on my own. AND a bill for an additional $1200 for a one day rental of a UHaul, which is totally ridiculous. If the company would contact me back and attempt to rectify the situation, it would be one thing. Not one person on this account has done a thing, not one. I would NOT recommend this company for your move, atleast not the one in Nashville, TN. I am one very unhappy customer.
