Although the customer service has always been top notch, which is not to be down played in the overall experience renting a storage unit with Compass Storage, that is not the reason for my 3 star rating. I’d give the customer service a 5 star gladly. The reason for my rating is because of the price of the unit and accessibility. I have had a unit with Compass for the last year and a half and over that time the base price for my unit has increased 30%! I now pay a total of almost $90 a month for a 5x10 non-climate controlled unit that I can only access from 6am-10pm unless I make special arrangements during normal business hours. I also have to pay extra for insurance because I do not own my home nor have a rental insurance policy. In the 10+ years I have rented storage units all over north central Florida I have never had to have this before.

This place has THE MOST AMAZING customer service, ever! I came in distraught and cancelling, because I found a cheaper, automated, place, but, left smiling and happy to have paid extra (had they not pricematched) simply because their customer care is SO warm and helpful. They pricematch, have awesome customer service, and are all around super awesome!! PS Sam is the BEST!!!
