They left more than 25% of our home behind, demanded thousands more under the table, knowing we had no choice being strapped for time. They Stored our furniture in a non temperature controlled unit for 3 months at $700 a month! And ALL OF OUR FURNITURE arrived broken and covered in mold!!!! We have been asked to resubmit our extensive claim 6 times! It’s been an absolute nightmare. We paid over $14,000.00 to lose over $30,000 in furniture. And they are very flippant on the phone. Today I was informed by the third party claims agent that fragile moving denies these claims and drags them out on purpose. I am trying to find who they are insured by, to file a liability claim. But It’s been a nightmare. We will never use Fragile moving or New leaf moving company who knowingly subcontracted these criminals. It’s 3 months later, daily trying to get answers. So by The end of January, if we are not reimbursed and restored, we are suing NEW LEAF, and FRAGILE. The attorney firm has enough to burn both companies for hurting so many people. We are also informing the military commands to blacklist their services.

We serviced your move based on a signed contract estimated between you and the broker. If at pick-up the customer has more items than expected, then a newly revised estimate is prepared by the foreman; read and signed by the customer before loading our truck. If needed, we will provide copies of these documents. Our documents state clearly all information regarding cost, fees, additional services, and a list of the extra items added by the customer at the time of pick up (and yes, you had a choice because we were one of the three companies that attempted to provide the service for you). Regarding insurance: our claim department has been waiting for you to provide documents and pictures of the items you are claiming; which we will compare with the report handed by our foreman on the day of pick up (pictures of items, paperwork, etc.) The information to file a claim was provided via email back in November 2021, and it is the customer’s responsibility to provide the required paperwork and pictures to probe the damages claimed. Since day one of your service, the first payment we received from you was with a bounced check; then you paid only one month out of the three months that were due for storage. The first month was free, and the second month we provided over fifty percent discount on the payment because you were struggling to make the payment and needed an extension. Plus, the third month was never paid. Then, you called our office and sent us an email stating that you were ready to accept the delivery; therefore, we sent our truck all over to Florida to deliver your items to find out that the same was happening with the payment; you did not have the resources to pay us at delivery. At that point, we had to find storage units in FL and rent them out of our pockets to store your belongings which you did not pay for either. Finally, you contacted our office saying that you had the payment ready for us, so we redeliver your items at no cost ($2,380.00 was the re-delivery fee that you were supposed to pay plus storage fees which you did not pay). Then on the day of delivery, our driver waited over four hours (we did not charge for waiting time) because you still did not have the payment for us. Finally, after four hours of waiting, we completed your service; you were present at delivery, and there were no damages or issues noted at the time of delivery. Also, our foreman's report does not reflect any notes or claims on your side; we have signed documents with no damages reported. If there is anything regarding your moving service that needs clarification please let us know.

It should be considered false advertising to use the word "fragile" in their name. Over 40K worth of stuff damaged, and that doesn't include them upping my price after my stuff was loaded and threatening to keep it if I didn't produce cash immediately. I signed the paperwork for full replacement value insurance and paid for it, yet they never provided me with the name of the insurance company, rather they sent me to some 3rd party claim company. I have the DOT from PA/NJ and at a Fed level looking into this operation, it has been discovered that they are operating illegally. They will not acknowledge my multiple emails or my attorneys emails in regards to the damages. Also, when referencing the illegal paperwork, I was referencing the fact that you forged my signature on some of the documents you provided to your 3rd party claims company. You do realize forgery is a criminal offense don't you? Notice that all the images of things being wrapped well were posted by the owner. Take a look at the image with the ATV’s stacked on top of each other, behind them is an unwrapped desk.

    Response from the owner

Ms. Good, we apologize once more if we caused any inconvenience during your moving service. You contacted our office a day after your service was completed asking for 40.000.oo, without any explanation. Then, you stated that there were damages, and we sent you through our claim department. Unfortunately, you were not able to probe any damages. Also, you stated that our paperwork was not legal, for this reason, we asked the DOT department to revise our records and our paperwork is compliant. Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience we always try to accommodate our customer needs.

Fantastic experience! From the coordination with admin staff (thank you Anna!) to the crew who with obvious experience and expertise, carefully wrapped an heirloom dining room set for an interstate move to coordination with the big rig truck driver, we felt taken care of in every way. Communication was terrific and the handoffs were seamless. The dining set arrived in perfect shape and we highly recommend Fragile Moving, Inc!!
