  If u come here for the Amazon account be prepared for long and poor planned days. JB Hunt hires u but has very little ability to keep u happy. However if u live within 30 miles of Chattanooga, ur time between "tours" won't be so bad. Amazon can leave 18 plus hr gaps between tours and JB will not pay any layover pay also I was told a couple times that I would receive detention pay but never saw it. Good luck

  So far, this company has been a nightmare to work with. They’re scheduled to deliver furniture for our living room last week. In preparation of the arriving furniture, I moved our existing furniture into the garage and filled out a survey for the company with specific instructions not to use anything larger than box truck for the move because we live at the end of a narrow street with little turning radius in the cul de sac. I received a call from the driver the morning of the deliver stating they in route to deliver. I asked the driver what type of truck is being used and he stated a semi. I told the driver he may as well turn around and move the couch to a smaller vehicle because he wouldn’t be able to make it to our house in a semi and if he did make, he wouldn’t be able to turn around. The driver ignored my suggestion and attempted to deliver. I received a second call from the driver about an hour later. He couldn’t even make it to my house and asked if I had a truck to use for completing delivery?!?!? I asked for his supervisor’s number and wouldn’t give it to me. I guess the driver was worried his supervisor would be upset but wouldn’t they think something was off when he showed back up at their facility with an undelivered furniture in a semi?? After calling JB Hunt’s customer service number, I spoke with a representative and they stated they’ll have to work on rescheduling Monday. I wasn’t very happy with the situation but figured one weekend without furniture would be okay even though I have a wife that’s 6 months pregnant, works at hospital this currently fighting a global pandemic and who was really looking forward to simply relaxing on a couch and watching some TV. Monday rolls around and I call JB Hunt’s mainline again and was informed it would be the following Friday before the couch was delivered. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was finally put in touch with a guy named Chris. I asked if he could help us out. I have a 6 month pregnant wife that comes home from work every day completely exhausted from working with COVID-19 patients and their families. All she wants to do is come home and relax in front of the TV for a few hours but can’t do that because of JB Hunt’s disregard of specific instructions, not once but twice. He stated they’ll have to use a pickup and they only deliver to our area once a week. I asked since they’re using one truck for one delivery then why can’t they get here sooner and amend the mistakes they’ve made. This guy had no sympathy and basically told me Friday or no day. Man, talk about customer service. I hope I’m able to screw up that bad, tell a customer to pound sand and still keep a job. Keep up the good work JB Hunt and whoever that Chris guy is. I’m really hoping my couch is delivered this Friday. At this point, I have little faith in that transpiring without further mishaps and I’ll update this review once our furniture is delivered. For a company that advertises added value I sure as hell haven’t seen any.
