Two men and a truck are a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. They were able to answer all of our questions, and provide a clear understanding of the insurance options. On moving day the movers were careful with our belongings and the apartment building and new home. During the move a manager showed up to ensure everything was going smoothly, and the office called to check in. We have used other movers before and hands down this is the best company to work with. We felt our belongings were in good hands the whole time.
Response from the owner

Do not trust this company's word that they will complete the job. We had a great experience with them in 2015, but things have changed recently. The company approved the job, confirmed the job, and even approved it upon walk-through. They started the move, which begins the hourly cost, and then stopped and informed us that they could not complete the job. It's a long story, but in the end, they made me (a small woman) do a significant amount of the moving while 3 men watched, while billing us at their full hourly rate. They damaged some pieces; and made me pay for an hour when there was a disagreement and we were waiting on management to call back. I filed a complaint with corporate, who kicked it back to the local office. They are not going to reimburse one bit of the money. We will never use Two Men and A Truck again. Beware! I recommend calling different moving companies.

Treated my belongings like garbage. Boxes marked fragile, with the top indicated were stacked in the back of the truck placed on the sides and upside down. I had packed my fragile items well and due to mishandling many items were broken. Multiple pieces of my furniture were scratched. I had a canvas picture and the piece of wood that was in the back in the middle was completely broken off. I showed the men everything at the beginning of the move so they could organize appropriately. However, this was not done and to move a 1000 square duplex took two trips. One man worked very hard and the other stayed in the back of the truck "organizing" leaving the other man to basically have little assistance. Quite a bit of my belongings were staged outside pending being moved into the truck, which was fine, until it was determined another trip was inevitable. So instead of loading the truck full, the "managing" worker instructed the other mover to move what was outside back inside. This was extremely frustrating and a terrible time management move. The move in total took approximately 8 hours. This move should have taken much less time. My duplex was packed and ready to move. After speaking with a representative on a follow up call they did alter the price to reflect a more appropriate allotment of time. The swing that was supposedly at the root cause of two trips, was ultimately missing one of the brackets that mounted the swing to the A frame. This was very frustrating as well. I ended up driving back to the duplex and finding the bracket in the yard. The duplex was one story with no stairs and the house I moved into was also one level with no stairs. Two bedroom suites, living room furniture, and office furniture was 90% of the move. No washer, dryer, or refrigerator had to be moved. This was my third and last use of Two Men and a Truck.
