  DO NOT use these guys or open road they are unreliable untrustworthy and will not take care of your belongings. I recently moved from North Carolina to Texas, they lost items, damaged my dining room table and now tell me the company is closed. Just because they relocate or change their name should not let them out of the responsibilities. Open road is no better - the price increased from them and metro every step of the way. No one will ever return your calls once they have your money. 😡😡😡 would give a zero if I could!!!!!!

  I would give them negative stars if I could. Open Road outsourced our belongings to Metro Relocations of Atlanta Georgia to move our valuables from Georgia to New York. We were never told that our belongings would be outsourced to Metro Relocations. Metro Relocations out of Atlanta is a rip-off outfit that essentially held our belongings hostage until we paid more money then the initial contracted price provided to us by Open Road. Open Road will be friendly and answer all inquiries until the contract is signed. After that they disappear from the planet, and they do not return calls or emails. Likewise, Metro Relocation is unresponsive to simple inquiries such as the day of delivery, etc. Furthermore, as noted above, Metro Relocation increased to price without adequate explanation. They essentially extorted us. The truck driver and the mover who did the physical labor were polite and helpful. However, the management is most unprofessional, non-respnsive and "sketchy". In addition, they don't take credit cards. Do not use Open Road and do not use Metro Relocation of Atlanta Georgia. I will be contacting the New York State Attorney General's Office about both companies.

  I would give them no stars if I could. My son used this company recently to move from Arkansas to North Carolina, and in addition to their fee, he paid $775 extra to "guarantee" that his furniture would be delivered within 6 days of pick up (They would not guarantee anything sooner). Of course they arrived at about 5:00 pm on the 6th day WITHOUT his dining room table. They also smashed the screen of his 50" 4G flat screen tv and broke the leg off a dresser. Then he had to jump through hoops to try to make a claim and after two months, they have yet to pay him a penny or refund the guarantee money. Use them at your own risk.
