Mover's Van Lines was contracted by International Van Lines to move our items from TN to TX. After leaving our house in TN many of our items were damaged and a few items were ruined. Most hardware for furniture was lost en route to TX (including all armchair legs, screws for two table legs, and a double dresser with mirror). Many pieces were destroyed and when the truck was being unloaded in TX it was apparent the individual who loaded our items from storage did not care about our items. Separate boxes and pieces were shoved into boxes we had packed leading to damage to items within boxes. If you want to have a quality moving experience when you pay thousands of dollars, I would recommend going with another company. I also would recommend not going with International Van Lines since they contracted out our move and led to this horrible experience. The amount of money we are going to have to spend to replace all the items Mover's Van Lines, Inc. destroyed will cost thousands of dollars that ultimately negates having them moved in the first place. Stay away if you have valuable personal items that you care about! Update: After spending three months filing claims documentation, receipts, and pictures. Movers is offering to pay $50.00 for all the items that they destroyed or are missing. If you have any valuable items that you’re moving, I’d highly recommend going with any other moving company that isn’t contracting out to a third party (since we thought International Van Lines was who would be moving us). Greatly disappointed and don’t want others having a similar experience.

Warning—Warning!! Do not use Mover’s Van Lines moving company. If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. The owners are unprofessional and only interested in money and how much they can manipulate the customer into getting more and more money. They completely lack customer service. We moved from NC to GA and used a broker company based out in Florida (we didn’t know this at the time) to get a quote and schedule a moving date. We paid a hefty deposit online to them. We thought this company were going to be the one’s that move us, but no. That broker company hired movers van lines, inc. from Doraville, GA to come pack our things and move us . They arrived very late, with a truck that wasn’t big enough for all of our household items. AND when they began packing and loading, once they reached a little under half of the truck space, they said in order for them to load and fill up the rest of the truck bed, we would have to pay them more money—- A couple thousand dollars more. They knew we were in a stressful situation and had time constraints to be out of NC. They took advantage of us for more money. Not only once but twice in asking for more money to finish the job. I had to pay them right away or the owner threatened that the movers will stop packing and loading. They still ended up not being able to pack all of our household items. We had to leave many things behind and leave it in storage. I tried several times to reach out to the owner of the company to express my concerns and get an explanation that made sense, but he told me he was too busy to speak to me and would call me back. Well, he never called me back. Save yourself the added stress, disappointment and anguish—- don’t use this moving company.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!The google reviews are not true for this company. Go to the Better Business Bureau and see the real reviews for “Mover’s Van Lines.” I wish I had read the reviews on the BBB before moving forward. Don’t be fooled by the cheap prices from the sales associate. Pay the extra money for a professional moving team. The owner/operations manager Jeremy likes to yell at women and you will not be able to reach him if you have questions in regards to when you will receive your articles. The time frame is 1-10 days and I was told 3-5 days initially. All communication is unfortunately through the sales associates which causes many delays in communication. The sales associates will give an email for Jeremy which is [email protected] but Jeremy NEVER responds. Jeremy also likes to hang up on customers. The movers threw at least 5-10 tarps at one time over our loft and the cover hit our TV causing it to break. The movers called someone on the phone and my husband and I were told we would get our TV replaced. Our TV was not moved by the movers however, the company is still wanting use the “60 cents per pound” insurance and give us $25 for a 43in TV. The movers did not move our TV which makes the contract null and void but Jeremy did not want to listen so we now have to file complaints and possible legal action. We have many other dishes and plates broken as well that is part of the contract. The movers on the 1st day did not come with tools to break down our beds. The movers actually knocked on a neighbors door to ask for tools to break down 2 beds that was listed on our article sheet weeks prior!! The movers on the 1st day was also not friendly and one was on his phone talking to a female very loudly not caring that we were still working from home in our study.
