  Initially I thought everything that was loaded on the moving truck made it to my new location but I found out after unpacking that one very important box did not surface. I meticulously organized everything for the move so I am positive that this was not my mistake. I am very disappointed as these items cannot be replaced and the employees at Mordue could have cared less. I called and spoke to a lady in the Peoria office and she said it was my fault that I didn’t look through all of my boxes sooner. She said she would talk to the movers and return my call, which she did not. I called two weeks later to be greeted by a woman stating she was the manager and she shouldn’t have been answering the phone that day. I explained situation and she said there was nothing she could do for me. I then reached out to the individual who helped facilitate my move and was told that no one had found the box or turned it in. Don’t make the mistake I did in trusting this company.

  I used Mordue for a move across town. Patrick and Lamont did a great job. They worked very hard in the almost 100 degree heat. Both were very professional and polite. Nothing was damaged and everything was placed where I wanted. We went from a 3rd floor apartment to a house. They wasted no time and packed breakables carefully. They assured me they would do a good job and they did. I would use Mordue again.

  Was scheduled for a piano move between 12-4 on a Tuesday. After calling 3 or 4 times throughout the day for updates I was finally told at 4:00 that they wouldn’t make it that day. This is after I was promised at noon that they absolutely would get there before the end of the day. I rescheduled for Friday, only to be told on Friday morning when I CALLED THEM 20 minutes after they were supposed to arrive that they were understaffed and couldn’t make it. I can understand staffing issues, but am incredibly frustrated by the total lack of communication and false promises.
