    They stole over $10000 worth of belongings and were only willing to pay me $50 for it. They also added charges for things like “an extra 10 feet” to walk and extra flights of stairs. They also are unresponsive and did not answer my calls regarding the missing items. They were also late to pick up my belongings and 3 days late to deliver them. The movers themselves were nice, but the company themselves are a mess.

    I called this company when I needed to relocate, and they were fast, polite, and fairly priced. Their customer service was always excellent. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone who has to move.

    The WORST moving experience possible. They put my family through hell. Lied every step of the way from their estimate to the delivery date. Never felt more taken advantage of in my life and I worked in Manhattan for twenty years. Talked to the Sales person 4 -5 times to set up date of pickup and transport since I was moving down South. Was assured that my stuff would be picked up from NY on a Saturday and be delivered to Georgia within 5 days of that. So I planned accordingly since I have small children, one of which has a seizure disorder. This included flights, hotels and a rental car. On the Saturday in question Moving Pro showed up, scanned the house and started telling me my estimate was 30% to low. They then spent the day putting one thing in a box to get the count and cubic footage up so at the end off the day the foreman was right. That's not even the worst part!!! Now I fly out a few days later with my family and two dogs. We show up to the house on the day of delivery bright and early but no one shows all day. I call several times during the day but no one answers. That night I go to Wal-Mart and buy some aero beds, pillows, and blankets because finding a pet friendly hotel at that time is impossible. I finally get in touch with them late in the afternoon on the next day and they tell me that the truck hasn't even left NY yet and that I should of read my contract because they have a certain amount of days to deliver my belongings. I tell the woman on the phone that I have been planning this with their employee for two months. I booked flights, hotels etc. based on his word and she tells me that's my problem. So I tell her that my daughter suffers from a seizure disorder and most of her medicine is on that truck because I only brought enough for 5 days not thinking that I had anything to worry about. I would have looked like a drug smuggler at JFK with a 6 month supply of her medicine in my carry on since we didn't check any luggage. So I ask her will the truck be here by Sunday since we thought it would be here by Wednesday. She said she didn't know and hung up. I had to call in a emergency prescription for her and pay full price since insurance already covered the 6 month supply. Now I don't here from Moving Pro for two days then they call and say our stuff is on the road by now my wife has been crying for 5 days straight and my children have been on and off as well. Well that wasn't the truth either because the next day the driver himself calls from New Jersey and tells me he is leaving and will see me in two days. Now two days later two men show up in a 53' trailer to unload a house that took 7 men 12 hours to pack and load up. Needless to say my jaw dropped. My wife and I proceeded to help the two men for 7 consecutive hours unload, unpack and put together various items in our new house. If we did not do this they would have taken two days. I am actually embarrassed that I used this company. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. I have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and that is just the start. I hope as many people read this and move on to some other Moving company
